Shade chuckled. "Hello Storm. Welcome to Shadow pack." He beamed. He had two, maybe three sons and two daughters. He was truly happy for once in his life since he met Yuki. It was...Bliss.

Shiva huffed as the two dogs left, "How rude."

Chako sat over Maine, sniffing. Silent tears streamed down her cheeks. She had lost Maine, and Luke had left her. Only Josie and Roan were left for her to love.

(mind if I design a male pup?)

"I heard that." Brawl growled at Shiva. "We're not trying to be rude here you know..."
"Says you calling my UGLY." Blackout muttered under his breath.
"Look, I was joking, okay? Pit bulls can't even take jokes?" Brawl sighed.
"You know what? I don't like you pushing me around all the time." Blackout snapped.
"But...I'm just trying to help you..."
"I don't need you! I...I can fend for myself!"
"Yeah, right. I just saved you because you freaked out!"
"I still don't need you!" Blackout snarled. He turned and stormed off and out of sight.
"Wait..." Brawl sighed. He sat down and looked down at his paws."...Maybe I was pushing him around too much..."

Barti smiled and wagged his tail. "They're so cute. You and Shade are lucky."

Merr nodded. "Yes, very lucky." A small smile creeped across his face, his body relaxing. "Keep them safe and eventually, they'll be big and strong like their father." He dipped his head to Shade and turned away, tails brushing on the ground as he padded off. "I'd better go round up my flock..." He rolled his eyes, refering to the 'brothers'.

"Thanks, merr. Thanks Barti. I promise they will grow up strong." Shade said, beaming at his children. Storm already seemed like a great kid. His younger brother, however, seemed more shy. Both had inherited the curse, which Shade did not know about at the time. He was a happy dog and nothing could tear him from his family now. Not even death.

Yuki smiled at Shade and gave him an affectionate lick on the cheek. "I love you Shade..." She seemed to be completely ignoring Barti.

Raven sighed and sat up, looking at where Shiva had been sat. I was right. I was right all along. She doesn't want me, or need me. And the same goes for everyone else... He stood up and walked off with his head lowered and his ears back.

Blackout came running back to Brawl, laughing. "Ha, I got you! You really thought I was serious about hating you!"
"Yeah, you sure did." Brawl growled. "Don't ever do that again!"
They looked at Shade and Yuki and tilted their heads to one side.
"Man, wolves are so wrong." Blackout barked, wagging his tail.
"Yeah, I'm glad we're dogs 'cause we never do anything offensive!" Brawl looked at Blackout with a smile.
"Uh...Are you sure about the 'nothing offensive' bit Brawl?" Blackout asked jokingly.

Hai ran after Raven, frowning. "Mister, I must warn you... I'm sorry about this but... You can't die... Like us... You have to have your head ripped off your body to actually die." He frowned, looking at his paws. "I'm sorry, side effect... You won't grow old, but others around you will... I'm so sorry..."

"I don't care and I don't want to know." Raven simply barked, then carried on walking.

Shiva followed Raven. "What about your pups? They need you!" she shrieked. Why would she leave him again? She had died to avenge him. He was the one for her. He was the only one.

"I love you too," Shade whispered. He truly loved Yuki. And his new family. He was happier than he had ever been before Yuki. Before her he had been merely a healer, son of the alpha silverblood. Now, he was Shade, father of Storm, Nikki and four other children.

Hai growled at him, leaping in front to stop him. "Mister, please. Take it from me. Although I haven't given you the Darkwood curse, I have given you something very similar. Do not injure yourself too badly on purpose until you know how to heal yourself or are among others that know... The dark arts are nothing to laugh at..."
