Sunpaw said " Hmm... That's weird. I don't want to give you yarrow, because that may just make it worse..." She jumped a bit when Windtail entered, and she said " Rabbitkit has something strange... She has a cough, runny nose, and a slight fever, and she said that she can't eat the herbs. I tried to give her some feverfew and borage leaves, made into a poultice with tansy and heather nectar, but she coughed it up almost immediately. I asked her if she felt like something was in her stomach and it hurts, or if she's hungry, but her only reply was she cant eat the herbs. But I don't want to give her yarrow, or it may make it worse..." She sighed, and decided she would tell Windtail about her dream when they were done with this.

"Well, a kit her age will have trouble swallowing all the neccesary herbs, especially with a cough. Try giving her only tansy, with some honey. It´s best to keep things to a minimal when dealing with a kit." He meowed calmly, gazing at the kit as he spoke."You might want to give the rest of the kits some tansy as well, just in case." He added before stepping out of the den.

She sneezed loudly once WindTail left. The kit was still slightly shivering from coughing up so many herbs. She hid herself by GrainClaws soft fur, before turning her gaze back to SunPaw.

Sunpaw nodded at Windtail's words, then got some more tansy, and got honey. She came back, then said " Ok, this should be easier for you. It's got some honey in it too." She set it down, taking some regular tansy with just a bit of honey to the other kits. After she was done, she cleaned up, catching up with Windtail. She said " Windtail, can I talk to you? I-I had a dream from StarClan, and it makes so sense at all." She looked at him, knowing that this wouldn't be the last dream she gets.

Batpaw's namesake each raised to their fullest height as he took in what was said, even as rain dripped down them, making them twitch like dragonfly wings. The last part made him hesitate; kits chasing the beetles... that reminded him of his kithood, or what he could remember. Those horrible claws, the screeches, the dead molly. The ebony tom remained silent for moment. I wonder what it'd be like to be born, able to chase those beetles. Ah well, I cannot dwell on the past... but now, I have recaptured some of my kithood. I have a friend.... that is what Snailpaw is, right? Hearing her purr snapped him out of those thoughts. He cast his filmy gaze in her direction, suddenly not finding it so bad he was slogging through a thunderstorm to find a few single herbs. Hearing her mew about the moss made a very soft chuckle escape him; for a second, he was actually surprised, but it was a pleasant surprise. Tilting his head, he let some of the water trickle out of his radar dish ears. "On that note, I say the moss is beyond lucky." Hearing her slip and trip made him start moving again, his own paws slipping and flaring. The tall ebony tom turned in her direction as she spat it out, and shook his head. "Really? I heard some kits say it's supposed to taste like honey," the blind tom said playfully, gently batting her with his long tail. Taking a few more steps, his nose twitched. "We'll be there in a few minutes. I wonder how the mice keep from drowning out here..."

He turned to SunPaw, giving the apprentice a quick nod."Alright, follow me." He meowed and padded off to his den, where the two could talk quietly. He settled himself neatly inside of his nest before turning his head to SunPaw."Well, what is it?" He asked.

Soon after eating the less amount of herbs, she fell asleep. The kit was curled up by her mothers belly, lightly purring.

Sunpaw nodded lightly, following after Windtail. She sat down, then said " I was taking a nap, and then I woke up in a nursery, and as the runt, was by my mother's tail. I-I was taken away by something that smelled... strange. I was set down, and grew o the size I am now. A Starry figure, a StarClan cat I assumed, showed up. He smelled familiar, almost like I recognized him. " Your future will haunt your past." Was what he said. I asked what it meant, and was that thing that picked me up, but he was gone. Another starry figure answered "It shall help you with your journey. Brown and white it shall come when you need it most." After that, I woke up. I-I don't know what it means! How can I do my duty, if I can't even interpret something from StarClan?"

"Hmm... Dreams don´t neccesarily have to mean an omen or propechy. It just may be an old cat you knew, but can´t remember." He meowed calmly, licking his paws dry."Besides, you´re young so omens and propechies are new to you. You´ll learn." He meowed and placed his head down on his paws.

Sunpaw nodded, then sighed. "But still, what does it mean by my past will haunt my future?" She flopped down, rolling over. She felt helpless. Was she in danger? Why does StarClan have to make things so confusing all the time?

The tom opened his amber eyes, staring into space."That doesn´t really mean much. A past is something that will one way or another haunt every cat. But that doesn´t mean you need to fear it. It´s something you need to face on with bravery." He meowed calmly."Now, go find BatPaw and bring him back to Camp before the rain gets too bad." He meowed, lifting his head to SunPaw.

Antlerclaw stared at the freshkill pile bitterly. If it continued to rain, all this prey would be destroyed. They couldn't afford it. He looked around for any cats nearby before he bent down and picked up as much fresh prey as he could and started moving about camp for a good place to hide it.

Snailpaw purred again at the playful bats and tried to grip his tail in her paws, before attempting to wipe the mud off. But since her paws weere covered in it as well, her efforts were in vain.
"I suppose i don't know what honey tastes like. If i have, it was a long time ago." She was born weak and very frail. It took a lot of special care in the medicine cats' den for her to be strong enough to move about on her own, let alone strong enough to train. Maybe she was given honey then. But she couldn't recall. She quickly stepped up beside him, mindful of the ground they walked on for any more slippery puddles. "You can smell it from here? All i smell is mud, rain, and," she sniffed the air again, "worms." She looked around for what she believed chamomile to look like. If there would be any bugs there, they'd all be drowned for sure.

Stonekit watched his sister take the herbs, then retch them up again. He was unsure whether to be alarmed or not, but the much larger cats didn't seem to fret too badly. His nose wrinkled distastefully and he ducked into the separate nest, curling up against it.
