Pronouns: they/them, xi/xir
Relationship with Haru: still childish at heart -which is often seen in their banter and the occasional light hearted games they indulge in together. Makoto is responsible enough for the both of them and ends up lecturing Haru quite a bit because of this.
Occupation: Makoto is an expert jewelry maker with the help from their shadow. They often make custom elaborate jewelry for other dolls owning their own small shop within the Dollhouse.

Personality: Has the hardest time outright lying, though got a pension for deadpan humor. This might be due to their inability to fully express themselves and their emotions. This is why they work twice as hard to be polite and value respectful exchange first and foremost. A bit more refined than Haru, Makoto tends to find themselves working hard to keep them both out of trouble. However, if someone wrongs Haru then all bets are off on civility.

When Makoto is making jewelry, they become extremely focused to the exclusion of everyone and everything else. Xi spends hours and even days bent over a bench, creating something new and is often known to forget previous arrangements when working hard on a new piece.

Makoto is also known for their obsession and fascination with new and elaborate clothing. Dresses and robes are xirs favorite. Often times one can exchange a well tailored outfit for a new custom piece of jewelry.

Socialization: Highly respected by others as a valued artist and known to be respectful towards their customers, Makoto often gets invited out by others to parties and events. Though Matoko tends to have trouble socializing, they still try often to keep things civil with others. They don't empathize well with others, except for their twin. Most of xirs friends and acquaintances know when to give them space. Most enjoy xi for their brutal honesty and dry wit, when the mood strikes them to strike up long conversations.

relationship with Makoto: Rather childish and mouthy, but truly does care for their sibling. They just have a hard time showing it.
personality: Always getting into mild trouble, spontaneous, outgoing, and a bit of a class-clown. Haru can also be quite sarcastic when they want to be, though deep down, they are gentle and caring. They can come off as rude, but only because they are rather stubborn. Haru has a difficult time expressing their emotions, and thus often gets themselves into arguments with Makoto.
