Doc - Tag: Everyone

Doc frowned at what Dusty was saying. "You never know what can go wrong, but you do have a point. We won't know what can happen unless we try. And Aeris has a good guess about what Carew has been doing. However, Dusty's vision is the only anomaly with that hypothesis." Looking down, Doc seemed to consider something before he looked back up at the team.

"I do believe that maybe Dusty's vision was the catalyst for the rest of us having visions, though. I mean, think about it. First Dusty has his vision, then Otter, twice. Then I have a vision as well. There is a reason for this. And it all began with Dusty's vision. Dusty saw Carew, but had never met the guy before. Otter has a vision and sees Carew. Carew is connected to the military industries. I have a vision, but mine is an anomaly, because I didn't see Carew in my vision. However, I am FBI, and I was told to back off of the case and stay away from Carew." Doc said. "Of course, this is just what I noticed. It may not mean anything in the long run, but you never know."

"OK!" Dusty spoke up now. "So... uh... we can... we can just agree that until we meet Carew and get some answers... we won't get answers right now." Dusty stated. "SO... despite me having a vision first... we still don't know the reason behind any of this. Let's just... head to our respective places of rest and... reconvene in the morning?" he suggested. "Oh and we need to bring the others who weren't here up to speed!" he suggested. He glanced in Shadow's direction... wondering what her plans were.

"I can agree with that... not sure we can do much else tonight until tomorrow... oh speaking of which... anyone have ANY thoughts on what I could do?" Miles asked, looking around hopefully. "You know like... for the mission." He continued, glancing around hopefully.

Shadow had stayed back and listened to what was around her, finding that the views were getting more and more analytical..... and it was becoming more and more unsure as to what was fact and what was fiction..... She knew it was hard to tell already but this was making It worse. She breathed in a little deeper than normal in order to re focus her mind, before noticing Dusty glance at her. She looked away a little, as she remembered what she had to talk to him about, thinking he'd no doubt follow her wherever she went.

She cleared her throat very lightly, not loud enough to disturb anyone and focused on him for a moment. "We can find somewhere to.... talk" She said to him, driving up to the table once again.

((Shadow and I have a plotline involving Doc and Shadow coming up with the upcoming infiltration, Dusty, just so you know. She and I talked about it in advance on Deviantart. ))

Doc - Tag: No one

Looking back at Shadow, Doc couldn't help but wonder what was going on with her. She seemed to have a lot on her mind lately, and something bothered him. Shadow had not revealed much about her past, and he hadn't failed to notice something was off with her a bit in the confidence area either. As much as he wanted to ask about her past, Doc decided against it. 'She'll tell us when she's ready.' He thought, but something niggled at him anyway. His instincts as a doctor were screaming at him, and he didn't know why. The more he looked her over, the more previously unnoticed details he could pick up.

His blue eyes narrowed as he picked out a few scars that had been painted over many times. Doc knew scars well, as he had several from his time as a racer. But those didn't look like racing scars...And that worried him.

What was Shadow hiding from them? And did it have to do with why his instincts from his time in the medical field were telling him something was wrong?

[Dusty Crophopper]

Dusty saw Shadow signalling him, so he nodded, and moved over to her now. "Hey... talk?" he asked. "Lead on. What did you want to talk about?" he asked, growing a bit uneasy, but knowing it was probably something necessary.

Finn nodded. "Well I think we can conclude the proceedings." he stated, looking about the table as he finished off his wine. "Meet at Carew's at 09:30 tomorrow... we'll... get this mission moving!"

Miles sighed. It seemed no one had any ideas about what he could actually do on this assignment. Spray, Doc, they had all been struck mute it seemed, or were ignoring him. "Ahem!" he cleared his throat again, wondering why two FBI agents were seemingly struck dumb over the question. "Still haven't... figured out my role..." He glanced from one to the other and then to Finn.

Finn didn't seem to want to assign him anything, perhaps due to his dislike of the car already. Miles felt like wilting here. It seemed no one wanted anything to do with him. Shadow had certainly ignored him, but that wasn't surprising. Finn remained silent, glancing around the table as he took one final sip of his wine.

Doc - Tag: Miles

Looking back at Miles, Doc sighed. It was clear he wanted to be of some help, but Finn hadn't given him anything to do. He then faced Miles. "If you really want something to do, I think I have an idea. Since we're going inside, maybe you can watch a live feed from my camera to see if there is anything unusual. This way, an extra set of eyes can help keep an eye on things." Do suggested. It was a decent idea too, as it would give the lemon something to do, and Doc couldn't exactly look for anything unusual all the time.

He looked back at Finn discreetly, hoping the spy car wouldn't object to the idea. It seemed likely, but one never knew for sure until it was put before him.

Shadow: Dusty, Miles

Shadow backed up a little here, glancing round. She had noticed Doc had been looking her over, which made her uneasy. There were certain things she never wished to live through again, though his medical background WOULD have picked up on something here. She noted that Miles was seemingly dejected about Finn's apparent decision to not let him help. She couldn't say she blamed Finn, she still held the same reservations about him, and didn't think she would ever warm to him. She did nod at Doc's suggestion though, smiling a little, maybe in the attempts to... put him at ease? "We'll always need lookouts... Its actually a rather important job" Shadow mentioned to Miles here, nodding again. "If anything, it could prove how much of an asset you are.... and how much we can trust you" she said to him here, though not appearing threatening. She moved past him here, before she reversed more, beckoning Dusty to follow and beginning to head toward the exit to the restaurant. She slowed a little as she moved out the door, taking a deep breath.

"Dusty.... Finn has noticed how...close we're getting. And he... wanted me to.. make sure you knew... the dangers. What this could entail should we.... pursue this" She said here, her voice dropping.

Doc - Tag: Miles

Doc nodded at Shadow's words. "She does have a point. Being a lookout is very vital to any mission. I could give you my black-box's tracking frequency too, so you can help if any of us get separated. This way, if you track us from Siddeley, you can guide one of us to another agent that is close by." He added.

The ex-racer didn't really think much of it, but that would hopefully give them the edge if any of them were in trouble.

Spray - Everyone

Spray nodded. "Good idea, Finn," he said, although he wondered what would happen the next day. And if he'd be able to help Dusty in some way. If at all...

[Dusty Crophopper]

Miles frowned thoughtfully, considering this. "Well... all right but I'm not... I've never really done something like that before! I'm not really a... scout or whatever you'd call it!" he pointed out. He turned as Shadow addressed him before driving off with Dusty. "Eheh yes... well... what if I mess up?" he asked to her statement of getting them to trust him. "I could mess up horribly and you'd all hate me!" he called after her, shaking his front warily.

"I... don't think it'll be that bad." Dusty said as he headed off with Shadow here.

"You're not the one who has to do it!" Miles called over to him. "Ugh! All right... I'll try..."

"Besides..." Finn spoke up here, smirking. "If a trained FBI agent can't find his way out of a hairy situation, it's hardly your fault."

"I'd still blame myself." Miles murmured. "But all right... I'll give it a shot." he said here, nodding.

"So... reconvene at Carew's plant tomorrow at 09:30, yes?" Finn asked the others, looking around at them for confirmation.

Meanwhile, Dusty was getting further away with Shadow. "Dangers?" he asked, gulping here. "Wh-what dangers? I mean... like because you're a spy and stuff? I'm sure there's... dangerous parts but... you're... safe overall, right?" he inquired, really not sure what she meant. He gave a nervous chuckle, but knew... she was being serious. This was... no joke.
