Roza crossed her arms over her chest, sighing as she directed her gaze toward the ground, and continued walking.

Dimitri nodded slightly, giving her hand a gentle squeeze.

"It depended who you were, but yes, at times it was quite tough, especially when the king passed on." Lucian replied.

Skye nodded. "I'm sure...were you any sort of royalty? Or a duke or anything like that?"

"I was a marquess, not as high ranking as a duke, but I did rule over some land. I was one of the more influential people." Lucian replied.

Skye blinked in surprise. "huh...I wasn't anybody..."

Lucian looked at her, "When did you die? It must have been recently." he said.
