i hate the dmmd ova a lot lol,, the anime's not as bad as the ova bvut i still hate it aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
the game tho? sign me the HECKLEDONGERS up
but i do agree. play the game instead of the anime, unless you're triggered by rape and stuff. i just held the ctrl button for scenes i couldn't cope with though.
if you want i can give you a way to avoid triggers. bc man this gaming is triggerin

I'm just glad they animated all the bad endings ;u;
And the thing I didn't like about the anime as a whole is that the art style and animation wasn't the best.
I remember when they accidently released a unpolished version of an episode and it was hilarious xD

You really should! It's been described as "the masterwork of CLAMP." It was never finished so the ending is unofficial and the art style is a bit misleading considering it's drawn shoujo style when the plot is more so seinen but it's amazing. Really hard to find the movie adaption though. And it's got a bit of a violence/gore trigger.
