I look down when I'm suddenly pulled into his lap, smiling at him. I give a small chuckle of sorts before kissing him again and again, closing my eyes. "I love you." I place my head over on his shoulder.

Maine kissed back and growled out softly. He held onto york with one arm while moving the other to give the brief three finger sign language sign for 'I love you' in return. This was probably the only sign he could remember from the first few days of having sigma before the whole, turning into the meta thing started.

I grin into his lips, kissing him back. "I never, ever want to let you go." I whisper to him, digging my head further into his chest. "Maine. I have a question. Why don't you...ever take off your armor around me? I mean...not like....you know what I mean!" I stammer, look down, and look up at him, red in the face from embarrassment. "I mean, you can trust me, is all! And if you're...self conscious about the way you look, Maine, well we've...seen each other."

Maine snorted a bit when york brought up the question of his armor and why he never took it off. It was more instinctual to have his armor on all the time then anything else. He looked at york and could merely shrug in response but now was curious. Did york want him out of his armor for something or was he just curious?

"I mean, I was just curious as to why you never did so, even when we're in a safe zone like my room or the ship. I mean, you do have a body suit under it." I nod towards him, scratching my head. Way to make things awkward, Jake. "I, um, really, really didn't mean it in any sort of way. I was just...asking." I look down again, blushing. "Just...never mind. Forget I said anything."

Maine snorted a bit. Technically that was true, the ship was a safe zone, especially york's room. He was still just rather tense with removing it after the director bursted in last time. He snorted but looked at york and shrugged, nuzzling the top of york's head now as he growled gently in a questioning manor.

I glance upwards as he places his head on top of my hair. "What?" I ask, taking a deep breath. "I'm, uh, I'm really sorry. I tend to say some things that come out as a little awkward when I'm around you." I feel myself tense up, my grip around his neck fading. "Um...yeah...that happened."

Maine tilted his head alittle from confusion now as he looked at york. He was still amused by his loves flushered appearance just by asking about his armor. He growled softly from amusement and kissed york's cheek to try and get him to calm down now.

I take a deep breath when I feel him kiss my cheek, hugging him back and returning my position in his lap. "Heh. Thanks for not...making this more awkward." I say. That freaking sounds awkward. Flip! I shake the thought out of my mind and kiss his ear, closing my eyes. "Never mind." I then fall backwards on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, legs dangling in Maine's lap.

Maine looked at york when he laid back and snorted a bit. He looked around slowly before he decided to carefully start taking off his armor while york wasn't paying attention.
