@rosemarrie i would maybe do something with the big block of dots above the photo, and fill in the white space around the description c: also, a few vertical borders would look nice
edit: also, do you guys think it would be against the rules for me to use this gif? cause the rp rules says that smoking is allowed in people of age, but it doesn't say anything about photos of smoking, and i just want to be sure.

doubt, wrote:@rosemarrie i would maybe do something with the big block of dots above the photo
definitely this, imo. in graphic design, blank space is definitely your turning point. it can be used to your advantage to portray a mood or emphasis. don't fill it with something that takes away from the base value of blank space. that being said, if you made the entire space blank, it would become overwhelmingly static. i suggest being selective with the dots, leaving space but adding fillers (the dots) when needed. also, determine what your focal point is, is it the name or picture? as of right now, they seem balanced. unless you want that constant motion between the two, idk...
i swore by this and survived in my art class- woot! gotta love thise elements and principles, especially when you have to write 10+ artist reflections without being monotonous xD
this looks and sumsup everything my com. tech teacher taught
just my sucky two cents xD

hey guys, how does this form look? i felt like the deep red on the left was very heavy, so i made the quick info dots red too to balance it out, but i'm not sure if it's enough.
also, just so it makes a little more sense, he's supposed to be envy.
i really like this one though ;///;
my eyes hurt without my glasses on and they're dirty so everything looks weird with them on and i just

yayayay i've updated the challenge section!
i'm so excited. it's based off of deer's idea about
the theme of summer. you have ten days to complete
your coding or writing piece and then send it to me
via pm. there's a link at the bottom where you can
vote for your favourite, but it doesn't open until july 21.
voting automatically closes july 25, so make sure to
vote! still, i'll put the entries up as i get them so y'all
can start thinking.
@susurri omg i seriously love that book so much it's unbelievable.
i was really hesitant to read it for ages, but i started the series
last year and read all the existing books in, like, a week. cx
@rose i totally love it. the colours work really well in my opinion
and just in general it's really nicely put together. if we were being
reeeaaly picky, maybe make the swirly things on top of the
'not a hero' text a similar, coffee kind of colour, to the title? idk
the black just stands out against all those other beautiful, more
subtle colours. i just think it'd help blend it more. cc:
@doubt, i must say i'm loving the boxes on the right. it goes
really well with the titely thing. the only thing is that it doesn't
quite fit on my computer screen, but that's probably just because
i have such a weird laptop lol. + i don't think the red is too heavy
at all. sure, it's bold, but i think it just compliments the greens. c:
