Looking around, Milo saw Liza seated at a table near one of the grimy windows. "Ey!" he called, shoving his way through the tables full of drunks towards his captain. "We're all wantin' ter set sail back aboard the Maiden. We're gatherin' the crew an' whatnot." He pulled the coins from his pocket. "We're packin' up an' shippin' out, with yer permission, o' course." He strode up to the bar and purchased two bottles of rum, then growled at the men who were glaring angrily at him. "Go on," he threatened them. "Attack me, I dare ye." He drew his dirk and whirled it between his fingers. When they drew back, he grinned, exposing his pointed canines. "Yeah, y'all git along an' run back to yer mammies."

Xaria looked up at Tess as she asked to go to town. "Oh! Can I come?" She asked, standing up. "If I am to work, I would rather not work in a dress." She said lightly, her tone humorous.

Tess wheeled around to look at Xaria. She hesitated for a moment but then smiled. "Sure, but I warn you, I don't shop like most girls do. We'll be in and outta there pretty fast." She looked to Alexa, still waiting for that permission.

"Yes, permission granted." Alexa said smiling. She went to the captains quarters and sat at the desk.

Xaria rose an eyebrow. "No matter." She said waving a hand. "I know exactly what I'm getting." She had seen the outfit many times but could never buy it because she was supposed to wear dresses, as a rich girl, it was required.

Tess nodded. "Alright then," She began down the plank quickly, wondering to herself what she should get. She figured she'd just grab the first clothes she saw. And a belt to hold her stolen dagger. She put a hand on her shirt above the spot were she'd tucked it out of sight.

Alexa looked at a few maps, waiting for everyone to come back.

Tess looked over at Xaria as she walked down the gangplank. "So, you lived with your uncle? No parents or somethin'?"

Xaria shook her head. "No... They died years ago..." She said quietly, playing with the material of her dress.

Tess nodded. "I see," she looked over at Xaria and saw her playing with the material of her dress. She realized she'd probably entered a touchy subject for Xaria and cast an apologetic glance in her direction. "Aw, don't mind me, they never taught us manners in the slave galleys. I'm sorry." She tried to change the subject. "So... which way to the clothes?"
She looked around at the busy marketplace, a little daunted by the confusing vastness of it all.
