what makes for a successful roleplay? what motivates you to actually start planning?
while i love a good plot like anybody else, i think the main motavating factor for me is excitement in the other roleplayers. not just the ones who post up their forms, and begrudgingly post in the topic, without much discussion put into it.
but you guys made me feel better about an rp idea i have that's super out there, so that's nice. c:
who/what caused you to discover and take an interest in coding? or roleplaying, for that matter.
it was actually about 6 years ago, i was on the warriors forum and someone had written up a script to put in stylish to make it less ugly. i thought it was amazing, so i started playing with it, to change the background, the post colors, etc. nothing like the coding on cs, but it was my initial interest.

i get super pumped about super unique, in depth plots. a friendly group of people w/ cre
ative characters really helps me to get my planning on.

i picked up role playing when i joined cs w/ my original account in 2008 when i got my
first computer uou. does anyone remember those old, preset form 'skeletons'? those are
what eventually got me to code! i used to spend hours working on skeletons for my rps
so that people could use them. simpler times, i'm telling ya.

what makes for a successful roleplay? what motivates you to actually start planning?
i think plots with things that really interest me or make me curious are awesome, and most
of the time they are very well thought out and just beautiful and they make me wonder; "how
did the creator of this roleplay think of that?" also, enthusiasm from the roleplayers is very
important, and that really urges me on to get it started.

i remember when i first got into the semi-lit/lit+ section i saw all the "best roleplayers" with
gorgeous coding and long, intricate posts. i really really wanted to get to that stage once i saw
all the stuff they seemed to get to do with nice forms. i started quoting their forms and looking at
the coding inside and started to slowly pick it up. this storage holds all of my first attempts at coding.
some of it is pretty bad. *cringes* later on it looks a bit better though! *grimaces*

do you hate it when people use famous faceclaims?
i have no problems when people use famous faceclaims, like one direction, 5 seconds of summer, dylan o' brien, and of course francisco lachowski (like 100% sure everyone has used that beaut). like personally it's not like an issue.
what makes for a successful roleplay? what motivates you to actually start planning?
a plot that i'm interested in and nice people c:

not really, but if i find the actor/actress/model in like, a
billion other roleplays i get a little tired like 'wow it's this
guy again this sure is getting old'.

you to actually start planning?
a successful roleplay is only achievable with an amazing
discussion thread where everyone's being stupid, in my
opinion. talking is everything - if the discussion thread
doesn't catch fire, the roleplay doesn't usually become
all that successful. it's also super fun making new friends
so they'll pity join your next roleplay, haha.
motivation is tough for me. i procrastinate through, really,
everything. if i get into the discussion, it gets me more
pumped to post a long first post, because otherwise, i
really don't want to waste my time typing this whole long
thing out only for the entire roleplay to fade out. :c

hmmm... i actually didn't stalk anyone to the roleplaying
section of chicken smoothie. :o more like i miss clicked on
the front page and found myself in the strange realm of
roleplaying.
the coding is a different matter. it was more of a spur of
the moment sort of thing, where i suddenly decided that
i wanted to make my old forms look better than crap.
here's my first try where i actually put just a little effort
into one of my forms. i thought it was the coolest thing to
hit earth ever, haha. funny thing is, it wasn't even a year
ago when that graced our presences.

speaking of coding, getting some opinions on penryn's
new and improved (revamped) form would be amazing.
here's how it use to look like. c:

@deer - when thorne redid the staff she removed us, so all the old staff need to be added to the memberlist c: (idk if you just want them to redo their form?)
it would be awesome if could could add seren and i to the staff, but idk, since we're no longer staff.mint. wrote:i want to be a stalker!

@mint; yeah i got you. i added you seren and you to the front
@loosy; i really like the form the colors are really nice! one suggestion though, the wide text should be separated i think. like you either put the image in between or the name. i mean if you wanna keep it keep because like your coding. c:
