@Umbremaster + @Swiftalu ; Nice team! I had both Jolteon and Luxray in my team in Platinum, along with a Rapidash etc. (I was a noob ahaha) The move earthquake would k.o. my whole team.
Is Pearl really different enough to be worth it? I think that the best thing about Platinum was giratina/the distortion world and Peal sounds much like it but without those two.

who is/was your favorite main/other character in the games and/or shows?
N Harmonia hands down. I liked him in BW, loved him in B2W2. His character got a whole new level of horror you have to think about.

It's stated that N was left in the woods to fend for himself as a child was was raised by wild Pokemon. He rescued by Ghetsis who claims to be N's father (it's ambiguous whether or not that's true but he's a scumbag so I wouldn't put lying past him.) It's also stated that from his childhood N was locked in his room nearly 24/7 with abused Pokemon to condition him to hate fighting and the trainers that force their Pokemon to fight.

This means Ghetsis adopted N for the sole purpose of locking him up and brainwashing him. Over the span of at least 15 years judging by N's age. N grew up believing his own father psychologically tortured him for that long.

Oh yeah and he says stuff like this to his kid.
"So you came... The freak without a human heart...N!"
"Shut your mouth! Shut up! Shut up! Shut UP! Don't talk like a person, you freak! No real person could talk to Pokémon!"

Cyrus! Well, and Colress. But Cyrus!
I might have a slight fondness of characters who at some point decide that emotions are unnecessary.
Combine that with his megalomania, and you've got a pretty good villain.

Colress is a neat scientist character, and I like that he just has his own agenda and doesn't care who he's got to side with as long as he gets to further his research.
Plus, Steel type trainer. I respect my fellow Steel frends.

Plus, he has a typhlosion which is by far my favourite starter out of them all.

I just love his personality and his relationship with his typhlosion. I remember really enjoying The Legend of Thunder as a kid.

also; Sorry for the delay of the POTM poll. I've been kind of stuck on what to put on the poll as last time it was Summery-type of Pokes. Does Water types from Hoenn (as it's a tropical region and thus typically a warmer climate) sound all right as a theme?

Even Giovanni sounds like a better father compared to that XD
I didn't find Ghetis that interesting somehow, but it impressed me that he actually tried to kill the protagonist. I like Cyrus, but not really because of his thinking, but because he was fitting fas a leader and I really like that part of the game that showed how he held an speech. I think Maxie, Tabitha and Archie could have been better and I prefer the way they were portrayed in Emerald, I think the end in ORAS was a bit too strange. I especially like Giovanni, because in the game I always got the feeling that I'm the little genius kid that beats the evil mastermind (like in fantasy novels). I just like the way he talked to the protagonist.
I don't watch much of the anime, but when I did for a bit I liked Gary, the crazy Harley, Drew, Team Rocket Trio and the Jigglypuff XD
