Chains clink around your wrists as your body manages to shift around, your eyes blinking slightly to open. A dim light from the nearby torches illuminate upon your face, the bars of your cage signifying that you must be some sort of prisoner. Suddenly, your cell door opens, a man wearing heavy armor leans over you. “Hey, kid,” his gruff voice rings in your ears, “You’re in Montohelm city, and you’re going to join as a Knight who gathers supplies for the cities from Montohelm.” He tells you, causing your eyebrows to furrow together in confusion. “What.. What happened? Why am I in here?” You question, causing the man to chuckle. “Not too sure about it, but I–er– do believe that you got arrested for something. But this is your second chance. The Queen’s about to add you and several others as Knights. That’s why you gotta stick close to me and follow me. Run away, and you’re sure as hell a dead one.” You ponder about this ceremony to become a knight, perhaps your journeys will take you to the farthest mountainsides and to slay a mighty dragon. Once you arrive to the ceremony, there are many others seated with the shackles no longer around your wrist. The man who escorted you to the ceremony in one of the large interior rooms of the castle unlocks the shackles with a odd key. You shake your wrists nervously, sitting beside someone who is quite eager for the ceremony to begin. A queen wearing a long sleek grey dress approaches towards the podium at the small stage, her smile mesmerizing. “Hello, upcoming Knights of Montohelm,” Her voice is loud, but yet it is soothing, “I am Queen Aerona. I’d like to announce you that you will either be exploring the lands of Montohelm. You will be traveling with anyone of your preference, or you can travel alone. You can gather necessary resources for the cities or even for yourself. The reason I had pardoned your crimes is due to the fact that our country is in desperate need of more heroes. I believe, to a certain extent, you can morph your destiny upon the path you go down, whether it be shrouded in light or darkness.” Her speech was eloquent yet simple. A few bowed their head in honor, causing the queen to flash a winning smile as she stepped off stage. You ponder about your future, then receive your armor.

Montohelm City

Montohelm City is the capital of Montohelm, and one of the most populated cities. It consists of both rich, middle class, and the poor. In the middle of the city, there is a tall church that citizens go to pray. At the top of the church, there is a balcony overlooking the city. Merchants reside there as well, and a bar provides shelter for those who can pay it.

Stathmore is one of the cities including only middle class and the poorest of people. The climate is rather cold and sometimes it snows during the fiercest of winters. It often also rains sometimes. The strongest warriors are trained during the cold weather, causing them to be ruthless. Bandits also ransack the city due to it’s low society.

The Black Hollow

The Black Hollow was once a blooming city, full of life and mysterious experiences. Now, it is home to all the Guilds and its members. Each guild is well acquainted with each other so there is no fighting.

The Assassins guild is well known for it’s trained combat skills. They basically are spies for the cities, for it protects it against any enemy.

History—
Aerona Valera de Lumière grew up with two older twin brothers who challenged each other to becoming the King. Her father was not satisfied with the idea, and being the sadistic man he was, he told them both to sword fight when he perished and whoever would win would be the heir to the throne. When her father perished during the war and her mother died due to a spreading sickness, her two brothers challenged each other to a sword fight. Both of them died before a healer could even heal both of them, thus ending the feud. Aerona became the queen at age 16, a girl who barely knew how to handle her own life. Growing up, she learned how to live properly and how to handle other lives as well.

Personality—
Although he is an assassin, Damian is surprisingly warm-hearted. When first meeting everyday people, he's usually quite friendly. In between missions, Damian can usually be found teasing other assassins or thieves, or surrounded by people, either awe-strucken newbies or his peers.
