Talis sighed and pulled his small teal bandanna over his mouth, trying not to inhale the smoke the hearth let off. Fire was such a strange thing. Sometimes it was useful, other times it could kill. Burrows-In-Sand looked up, surprised and a tad bit suspicious. She couldn't help feeling wary; normally the only people she felt she could trust were the others in the Companions. After thinking for a long moment, finally she came to a decision. "Sure. Lead the way," she smiled.

Zachariah gazed sideways at Dris. He really couldn't understand the pleasure that came from being a mercenary, clearing out dangerous caverns filled to the brink with draugr and Dwemer. Of course, the mercenary's live was not for him. He only walked into a cavern when it was necessary -- say, he had to retrieve a special artifact for the Thieves' Guild, or if Nocturnal ordered him to. Even then, he usually sent someone else on the mission. He wasn't particularly fond of getting his hands dirty. "That's nice," the Guildmaster said flatly, his attention elsewhere. He was beginning to get hungry, and the pulse point on Dris' green neck was starting to look very appetizing.

Jellal smiled warmly, stepping over the men that were knocked out and going to the door. He opened it, checked that Burrows was still following and continued for his home.

"Who wants another round of mead?" Strides-In-Snow shouted, his voice ringing throughout The Bannered Mare. The argonian was obviously drunk, as he didn't have the gold to buy everyone mead. He lifted up his bottle, stumbling over to the bench. He sat, throwing the drink in the fire and burrying his face in his scaly hands. The lizard-like creature always got terrible headaches when he drunk, but he was always drawn to wine and mead. What a dilemma.
