My list of fateful anime favs:
One is exiled and framed for murder
One almost dies and turns out to be slightly evil
One dies and then revives
One got poisoned but got okay
One is trying to get people to kill him
One gets his arm bit off saving someone
(Don't remember the rest)

ee mm I found Kimba the White Lion *cough*a childhood favourite*cough* is originally Japanese

Some old children cartoons like Vicky the Viking, Piccolino and Maya the Bee are actually "real" animes.
They got produced in Japan for a german television channel. I thought Heidi as well, but that got produced in Austria, Swiss and Germany.
Now they make more and more 3D animated series out of the old shows. Despite me knowing those in 2D as a child, I have to admin the quality is quite good and I guess this way they can produce it easier (not japanese anymore).

tbqh I've never heard of those anime you listed. but figures, since they're quite... old. but Kimba is old too i know - thanks mum for having it on a vcr tape and being the one to introduce me to it

some shows should be kepts 2D tbh
and not remade.

OMG I JUST STARTED WATCHING ATTACK ON TITAN (I don't know if you remember me from the front page and yes I know it has been quite a while. Hello!)

In Germany everyone around my age probably at least knows one of those and they still get used a lot for merchandise and remakes or even get adapted to movies, but I don't know how popular they are anywhere else. At first I didn't like any 3D adaptions as well (game or series), but after some time, the producers got way better at making them and than I realised that both 2D and 3D can make a really beautiful graphic and have their own charm.

Yep! I remember being terrified of MMD's and Vocaloid concerts for my first 6 months. Then they grew on me. Their some of my favorite things now.
