Doc - Tag: Everyone

Doc watched the talk between Shadow and Finn, but he couldn't hear what they were saying. Looking back at Miles, the Hudson Hornet spoke. "We'll find something for you to do, Miles. Don't worry. If Finn brought you here for a reason, then he will find something for you to be involved in." He assured the other car.

[Dusty Crophopper]

"Well I just hope so because..." Miles trailed off here, fidgeting with one of his tires. "I don't feel... particularly useful." he pointed out now. As they were speaking though... Doc would've found an... unusual sensation coming over him. He would feel light-headed and then... all of a sudden, sleepy as his vision turned milky white. As the milk cleared from his eyes he would find himself standing in a place very similar to how Dusty described... black rock ground, black pinnacles that rose into the sky, and that... blue atmosphere everywhere... permeating the place like a soft glow that pulsed ever so slightly.

Ahead of him, a pink Hudson Hornet forlornly looked up at him, sadness written on her features. "It's... the brother who never cared about me... who only cared about my racing..." she said softly, her voice broken and cracked like death. "Doc... why didn't you ever care? Why did you... love your racing more than your family?"

Outside of the vision, Miles only stared at Doc, who seemed to be... staring off into space, entranced by something. "Uh...?" he asked, looking from left to right with confusion.

Dusty gasped. "Wait... Doc? DOC?" he asked more loudly. "I think... I think he's having a vision!" the plane gasped, rolling around the table now to look at him. "Spray I think he's having a vision!"

As Finn continued driving with Shadow, he halted again. "No, no, no! I'm not saying you leave him!" the Faultless corrected her. "I said I wouldn't interfere with love... you can't help that! In fact I'm kind of... happy for you. But you misunderstand! He NEEDS to know what a relationship with you entails! Especially if he has... feelings for you as well! You can't lie to him after all, and you can't let him compromise the mission!" he told her. "That's... that's all I'm saying! Not break away from him... or dump... but just... make sure he understands what it means, that's all!" Finn insisted.

Spray - Everyone

The black plane spun, his eyes wide at Dusty's exclamation. "What?!" He turned to face the Hornet and he noticed the dazed look in the Hornet's eyes. "Aw, s***!" he swore.

He darted over and nudged the car. "Hey, Doc! Doc!" He gave a few sharp nudges, but his eyes were still glazed. "D*****!"

Spray turned and did the next thing that came to his mind: He moved in close and started his engine, making sure to rev it extra loud at full throttle; he locked his brakes for that one. "C'mon! Snap out of it!" he muttered, although it was lost due to how loud his engine was. And being half warplane, his P-51 engine was loud!

Doc - Tag: No one

Doc blinked, surprised at who was before him. He felt his breathing quicken at the car in front of him. It was impossible...

"Amy?" He rasped before he realized what she was speaking about. The day she had died... "Amy! It's not like that! I didn't know you had died! I only found out after my race when the track officials told me!" Doc couldn't understand. Why was she here?! Looking around, he then realized he wasn't with Finn or the others. The location was just like Dusty had described. "Where am I? And why are you here?" Doc asked as he glanced at Amy. "Amy, I really didn't know you had died! It wasn't like I could up and leave the race whenever I wanted! If I had known you were in danger, I would have left in a minute! Honestly!"

The ex-racer couldn't believe it. "Amy...What happened? How did you get here?" Doc asked. "This place...this isn't where you should be! Who brought you here?!"

At the first sentence, the Celica visibly breathed out, having apparently held her breath in worry. It was a clear notion, though one perhaps she hadn't meant to make quite so obvious. She closed her eyes a moment, taking on his words. "Well.... Yes, I am aware that... I need to tell him.... But he's a firefighter! Surely he would know about this already.... I mean, he's in danger frequently too... right?" She asked here, a questioning gaze lifting to Finn. "I will tell him and I'll.... see where he wants to go from here. I mean.... technically I dont even know if we're even... going out or.... where I stand really i mean.... its...." She started to burn up, looking down now, realizing that she was discussing this with Finn. "Uhh.... Well... That is to say, if our jobs dont come in between us anyway" She said here, a twinge of sadness catching at her. "I know what we do is dangerous I just wish... Wish it wasn't suddenly. I kinda didn't care when I didn't have any prospects of anything like this happening..." She admitted quietly here, glancing back up to Finn. "I'm... I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to happen" She added, her gaze now watching him.

Amy - Tags: Doc

"Yes... you couldn't leave the race... you could never leave the race, Doc. Never... you were never around... and your carelessness got me killed..." she sadly here, trailing off as she gazed up at him with forlorn eyes. "You did this... you got me killed because you were never around to protect me! Never! I only wanted you in my life but you were never there!" she said, tears springing to her eyes now. "I've been stuck here for so long... and I've received... no help from you. You killed me Doc... I've always... resented you for that." she said painfully. "No one brought me here... but red is replacing blue... and when that happens... I'll be... forever... gone. You could... join me..." she said now, an imploring looking coming into her eyes now. "You could... join all of us here... that could... make up for what you did to me." She began driving towards him now, revving her engine a bit.

Dusty and Miles - Tags: Spray, Doc

"I don't think it's working Spray!" Dusty said insistently here. "He's still... out of it!" he indicated, nodding in Doc's direction, who still seemed dazed.

"Well what's going on? It's really a vision?" Miles asked, looking from left to right with confusion on his features. "I... can hardly believe it!"

"Yeah well... it's how I was supposedly when I saw it!" Dusty informed him. "Zoned out and about a million miles away in some other place!"

Miles reached out and tapped Doc once with a wheel, then a second time to see if it had any effect.

Finn - Tags: Shadow

"You can't help it." Finn replied, giving her a stern look. "You can't help it, and you can't stop it. And even as a firefighter he doesn't fully know what we do. His imagination would give him an idea I'm sure, but he needs more than that. He needs to know... you have to be up front with him... regardless of the consequences." Finn told her firmly. He glanced back at the group as their voices were being raised now and frowned. "What do you suppose they're discussing?" he asked, looking from the group to her.

"Look Agent Shadow... I'm not saying you leave him... I'm just saying tell him the truth. And well... you'd best figure out where you stand... confusion over your emotions could only slow you down on this mission. You need to work that out if you're going to move on." he told her.

Doc - Tag: No one

Doc backed up a bit, confused and a bit scared now. "Amy, I never killed you! I don't know any of that would happen!" He exclaimed. "I was unable to race for two weeks I was so distraught at your death! I even wanted to pull out of the season because of what happened!"

On sheer instinct, Doc brought out his machine gun. This couldn't be Amy! She would never accuse him of not caring! For a moment though, he felt a pull at his twin's request. But he stopped himself, a hard look coming to his eyes. He couldn't accept. Lightning was still in need of his help and guidance.

"I can't accept being here. There's someone who still needs my guidance. Amy, I can't be with you here. I never killed you, but I can't accept the offer." Doc said.

Shadow: Finn, then Everyone

His words ran through her, causing her to cease talking for a few moments, her gaze firmly upon the floor. "Ok, I'll... I'll tell him. Tonight. I'll talk it over with him, and see.... See what he says" She nodded here, understanding what he was saying. She knew it was dangerous.... and she should have figured this out earlier. She should have warned him to begin with.... She sighed a little here, though the commotion that was kicking off over at the table dragged her attention back. "Er.... Finn? Something's... wrong" She said here, frowning a little, moving toward the table now. The others seemed panicked, and it caused her to look to Finn in concern. "We should get over there..." She said in an unsure manner, making her way to the table. She noticed they were all focused on Doc, though she couldn't quite see, automatically looking to Dusty as she came back. "What... What's going on????"

Spray - Doc, Miles, Dusty

"D********!" Spray shouted. He shut down his engine and released his brakes. "Doc!"

He nudged the car a few more times.

"Man! This vision really has him good!" the black plane muttered. He suddenly perked up as he heard Shadow approaching. As soon as she finished speaking to Dusty, he turned to face her.

"Doc's having a vision and we can't seem to snap him out of it," he explained. "I tried to use my engine, but no go." He shrugged his ailerons helplessly.

Amy - Tags: Doc

She cringed as he brought out his gun. "So you'd shoot your own sister? But I'm already dead, Doc. You can't kill me... you can't hurt me... you only torment me endlessly." She halted as he mentioned he still had someone that needed him. She seemed to darken. "Oh yes... one of your racing buddies... 'friends' that meant more to you than I ever did!" she snapped acidly. "It's all that's EVER mattered to you! You can't stay with your sister... the sister you killed! You only care about... racing!" she began sobbing here, finally stopping and slumping as the tears rolled down her sides. "You never cared! You never... CARED!" As her voice seemed to reverberate all around him, the vision began to fade, the white once again growing stronger and stronger until it engulfed everything and he was back with...

Dusty, Miles, Finn - Tags: Everyone present

Finn nodded, and revved his engine a little. "All right! Let's go then!" he said, following after her as Dusty turned to face her, worry on his features.

"Doc's having a vision I think! It's the same as I was when I had it! We can't seem to get him out of it though!" he explained. "I mean we tried noises... tapping him... it's not working!" Dusty insisted, looking about him helplessly. "But maybe... maybe it's good... maybe we can learn something!" he suggested now.

"Yes well... I think he's coming around!" Miles pointed out now, noticing that Doc's glazed expression seemed to be... fading here. "Hey Doc! You uh... hear us?" Miles asked, raising his voice just in case.

Dusty turned with pursed lips to watch as he moved next to Shadow. "I just... we weren't expecting it, and it seems to be completely random!" he said softly.

"What did he see?" Finn asked, driving up now.
