Anyway, I just came back from searching for Star trek gifs. I found a couple of funny TOS ones, and most of the TNG gifs that came up were Data or Riker.

Ha ha, I remember all of those episodes! Speaking of Riker's beard, does anyone remember the time Q made fun of it? I think it was Deja Q. I believe he said, "You weren't so stolid before the beard." Or something like that.

Data's hair is too perfect. He just doesn't look right to me with a beard. XD

I don't know who the others are, but what did everyone put on the poll? I put Geordi, but I was really tempted to put Troi because I like her personality. But I like Geordi's personality too, and I could talk about engineering with him, so he got my vote instead.

I voted for Data. I think we would have gotten along just fine--we're both smart , and we would have a nice conversation discussing how peculiar humans can be. And plus it makes me laugh the way he tells jokes. cx

How Long Have You Been a Trekkie? I've always liked the show. TNG is one of my mom's favorite shows as well, and she got me into it.

I would get along just fine with Data, I think. We both have a weakness for obtaining and blabbering out random facts. I'd probably just sit back and listen, soaking all the information in. XD

Also, Admiral, my mom got me into Star Trek: The Next Generation as well. I'm obsessed now.

Oh! And I found two of the TNG books at the library. I'm currently reading The Devil's Heart, which is mostly focused on Picard and Data. It's... interesting, to say in the least, to read a book in Data's point of view. Everything goes a million miles an hour... and deep inside Picard, he's a regular fanboy over history... in particular the Ko N'ya.

My library probably doesn't have things like that, but I haven't looked.

My parents have always been into both Star Trek and Star Wars, but I never got into Star Wars. I watched Voyager when they made my brother start watching, and then it was my request to go back and watch the original, and after that, TNG.
