By rarity it's very unfair to them ^^
Though demand is hard to place. Bananas tend to have low demand, but how much you want to pay really depends on your views

If you're looking to use the banana to trade up or for a higher demand pet, you may have trouble with it

Agreed, but I personally wouldn't take it. Fruits are difficult to trade off, which is probably why they are asking for such under pay.
