"You two again?" Rainstar chuckled good-naturedly as she heard Orchardkit's voice. "Badgerpaw and Driftpaw were talking with me so make it quick." she gestured her head to the two apprentices and she focused her gaze on the kits.

Bearkit - Male - 2 moons - //in the nursery
"Orchardkit gets to go outside." Bearkit sat down next to his brother with a hmmphh. "I guess it's just you me and Spottedkit." he mewed to Vinekit, side-eyeing the other kits and queens resting in the nursery.

He wrinkled his nose at her and pinned her "Gotcha!" he smiled. He walked over to Rainstar and purred "Hello Rainstar. Very sorry for interrupting. We were wondering if we may become apprentices."

She smiled walking over to Rainstar. She closed her eyes and smiled wide, soon scratching Coalkit's hind leg with her's unnoticeably.

He purred and tried not to laugh "Orchard, you are tickling my foot." he whispered to her.

Rainstar raised a brow at the black kit. "And you're how many moons old? I know Orchardkit is only three moons, so that's a no for her I'm afraid. Spottedkit is the only one who is due to be apprenticed soon."

She looked down. "We're both 3 moons... But in like a day we're gonna be 4 Moons!" She mewed protestingly.

He gave Orchardkit a look that told her to be quiet "Four moons tomorrow, ma'am."

He dipped his head "Well, sorry for wasting your time." he walked out and sighed.

"I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I'm afraid it's six moons for a reason." She left it at that not wanting to go into a puberty talk right here and now. "You'll be doing a lot of growing in these next few moons. Look at Spottedkit next time you see her. Her limbs are longer and her fur's lost that kit fluff." Rainstar pointed a paw at the slightly frizzy fur of the two kits and smiled sympathetically. "These two moons will pass before you know it."
