The gray she-cat stood and stretched. The water washed at her paws and she padded towards the trees. Ashpaw reached the first one, and climbed it. I have to show the warriors that I can take care of myself! She thought as she lay down on a tree branch. I'll show them.. I'm going to stay in this tree until cats come looking for me.

Adderbite flicked his tail and nodded "thats always fun" he replied his whiskers twitching witb amusement as the young apprentice trotted excitedly around her mentor. "I'll follow you two. I could use a good hunt." he murmured.

Icepaw trotted happy around her mentor, her tail bolt upright "where too!?" she asked eagerly, meowing excitedly.

Moonsong smiled. "Certainly not the beach since dogs were spotted, so we'll just hunt in the forest. Lets go." she purred.

Sunstream padded back to camp, dropping a large mouse on the fresh kill pile. She was bored.

She checked the borders, and refreshed where it was needed. Sniffing around, she couldn't find any traces of the dog, but wanted to make sure. "Any signs of the dog?" she called to Sparrowsong, still sniffing about.
