fear but she tried to hide it the best she could.

✰ Creeksong ✰
The she-cat's hiss of frustration could be heard through the downpour. She looked at the two apprentices nervously. I can't leave them by themselves. The gray and white she-cat's tail lashed from side to side. ''Okay. We're going to have to wait here for the rest of the clan cats.'' The she-cat inspected the space that they were more closely, looking for signs of a predator.
☼ Flarepaw ☼
Flarepaw was just outside of the apprentices' den, trying to find a way out of the camp. The water was constantly pushing her off of her feet as it got higher and stronger. ''Frostcloud? Where are we supposed to go?'' The rain was soaking her fur and weighing her down while she was trying to swim.
☾ Moonpaw ☾
The she-cat was not great at swimming and the camp flooding was her worst nightmare. She was trying to get out of the water but she was constantly being tossed around. Moonpaw started to plunge under the icy water once again, trying to swim to air. She broke the surface and took in a huge gulp of air. A bright orange pelt was coming her way. She had finally stabilized herself against something when she realized that her mentor wasn't coming anymore. ''Amberheart!''

The current deputy swam after Moonpaw, her resistant fur and webbed paws making it a bit easier for her, but not by much. As the she-cat was swimming the current picked up and she started getting pulled to wherever the water was heading. The current there was strong and she was swept away. The water closed over her head while she struggled in panic. She resurfaced once, but after that no one in the camp could see her. She wasn't in the clan's camp anymore.

Fawn

Fawn mumbled curses as he scrambled up into the highest point of the tree. The t shook out his pelt and blinked the rain water out of his eyes. "Stupid rain." He growled and then looked down through the trees at the clan cats below. The one he focused in on was the grey and white she-cat.

Sunpaw nodded to her mentor, her
paws starting to slip on the wet surface.
She was shivering and trying to hold back tears. She
caught sight of a cat trying to cling on to the side.
"look! there is Moonpaw. We have to help her." She said
to Creeksong and Lionpaw.

Skypaw
Skypaw struggled to swim, barely keeping her head above the water. Suddenly something swept quickly uner her paws and Skypaw began floating away. Oh no! Not the current! Skypaw thought feeling awfully scared. The she-cat tried to fight it but she wasn't the best at swimming and she didn't practice a lot because she was training to be a medicine cat. Skypaw suddenly slipped under the water, struggling to even get a breath in

Nightpaw
Nightpaw looked around nervously. He saw his sister on the other side of camp struggling but he couldn't get to her with the currents. Nightpaw tried to find somewhere safe to stay, away from the dangerous waters.

Frostcloud
Frostcloud swam over to Flarepaw so that she could be closer to her apprentice in case Flarepaw went under. Frostcloud was a good swimmer but if the water go much higher it would be dangerous for any cat to swim. "Looks like Creeksong, Sunpaw, and Lionpaw found somewhere safer. Let's try and get over there " Frostcloud meowed.

Reeds That Grow By River shook her head in annoyance as water droplets clouded her vision. She swam as hard as she could, her thin, frail legs working overtime to keep herself afloat. At one time it would have been no hassle but after nearly a moon of being clanless and hungry, Reeds That Grow By River found herself quite weak. She managed to paddle herself over to a tree and sink her claws into the rough bark. Reeds That Grow By River attempted to pull herself out of the water but the water's suction and the flimsy state of the soggy tree bark, prevented her from doing so. She looked around for another option but to no avail. Reeds That Grow By River continued to cling to the tree, shivering ferociously as soft whimpers erupted involuntarily from her throat.

Emberpelt ran out towards a clearing and started to hunt by herself. Even though it was raining she still went hunting.

Moanasplash had been hunting all Sun-High, an had returned with four catches and a soaked pelt. The humid air had clogged her senses, and she had given up on hunting, so she returned to camp. A cuckoo, and two mice were slung over her shoulder, while she dragged along a scrawny wallaby in her jaws. She padded into the camp, pressing through the moss-flap that covered the entrance. She padded into the clearing, relieved to find the rain wasn't pounding on her pelt as much. She trotted over to the fresh-kill pile, and threw the fresh-kill in. She sighed wearily, sitting down in the middle of the camp and grooming her rain-soaked pelt.

☼ Lionpaw ☼
The tom froze as he heard a hiss through the rain and saw quite a few leaves fall off of a tree that was a few tail lengths away from them. He backed up and faced the tree with his hackles bristling. It could've just been the rain the shook the leaves off of the tree. The tom was trying to convince himself that no one was there. But the rain doesn't hiss. That explains the odd scent. He looked towards Creeksong who was approaching the tree with Moonpaw and then back towards the tree. ''Who's there? You are on Honuclan's territory.''

Her amber eyes widened as she saw Lionpaw facing the tree. Well, that would explain that smell. The she-cat quickened her pace and she was soon in front of the two apprentices, her eyes searching the tree for whatever was causing a commotion.
☾ Moonpaw ☾
Moonpaw looked at the warrior in despair when she first approached her. ''But Creeksong, what about Amberheart. S-she got washed away with the water.'' The blue-eyed she-cat followed after the warrior as she was hushed and nudged forward.

Moanasplash followed the rest of her clanmates, evacuating the camp. She was trailing behind Creeksong, Moonpaw and Lionpaw, keeping her head down, silently mourning the loss of the clan's deputy. (Sorry, writersblock. I'm also not sure where to jump in)
