Hello i have a very quick and simple question. I am trying to make a welcoming and eye capturing welcome for my shop, so i decided to use the text fading tool to try and make it pop just a bit. I tried copying and pasting the rainbow text, but it came out plain. I then tried this code:
Code: Select all
<div><span style="color:#ff0000;">W</span><span style="color:#ff7f00;">e</span><span style="color:#ffff00;">l</span><span style="color:#80ff00;">c</span><span style="color:#00ff00;">o</span><span style="color:#00ffff;">m</span><span style="color:#0000ff;">e</span><span style="color:#8b00ff;">!</span></div>

But it didn't work either. Anyone know how to use this?

@hakku - you should change the output code to standard forum code c:

anyone have any software recommendations for GIF edits? I'm considering Adobe Photoshop CS6 (I currently use CS2's imageready), but how is it with GIF editing and merging?

This is my signature, but I can't get it right. Like, if I post it on a forum, it's all over the place, but in my signature it looks fine-ish.

The problem is the borders around my links. They aren't equal and if I get rid of a transparent 'x' it's still off.

Can some one please help me? Thank you!

GIMP, Photoshop, Illustrator, any photo editing program like the aforementioned.
The fastest way would be to find a vector silhouette, place in layer above your image, make selection of silhouette, cut your avatar (in layer underneath underneath using the selection, trim/resize to fit.

To preserve the original image, I suggestion doing a clipping mask of the vector image instead of cutting. Technically, this is the fastest way, but it is more skilled imo.
