Arin nodded as a large crack shattered the top of the egg. "Okay, switch places." She said, walking briskly over to Storm. "89..." She said, unclipping the blood-oxygen device.

(What's wrong with storm? Or do we just make it up?)

(Storm ate bad meat so now she's ill.)

Owen Grady
Owen rushed over to the hatching raptor egg. As he reached the egg, a tiny arm reached out over the top and another crack appeared down the side of the egg. Another arm broke through the crack at the side and it wasn't long until the head broke through and a tiny female raptor broke free. The raptor lifted its head and stared at Owen. Owen grinned. "Hey girl," he said cheerfully. "Arin, what's her name going to be?" He called back.

Christa walked into the lab. She started talking before she had fully entered. "Hey, Arin. And... Owen right? I just-" She paused when she looked up and saw them with the hatched egg and Storm. "Uhm, what can I do to help?" She rushed over next to them.

Owen Grady
"Yeah, Owen Grady," he said casually. "You can help Arin with Storm, I guess."

"I think something is wrong with Storm's stomach." She said to the other scientist, wrapping something around her arm to take her blood pressure. "And Owen, her name is Marlee." She said, looking back at the tiny arms reaching out of the egg.

Owen looked down at Marlee, who was now exploring the table top. "Where's Claire when you need her?" he chuckled, carefully picking Marlee up. "I guess we wait until Claire gets here then?"

Marlee clambered out of the egg and looked up at Owen, tilting her tiny head.

Christa approached Storm calmly so that she wouldnt be startled. She looked over Ari's shoulder at the blood pressure gaugue to see the reading. "Do you think it's serious?"
