hawkpaw nodded and happily follow morninggaze, her tail and head held high in glory. "wait-" she suddenly stopped as she spotted a large squirrel on some tree roots. she crouched and made sure she was downwind from it, and then got closer and closer.. and then leaped, slamming on top of the squirrel with her paws and claws. She didn't hesitate to make sure the prey was dead because she had hit it so hard, and she picked it up in her jaws, and happily glanced at morninggaze.

Antlerclaw crept soundlessly beneath the shade of the pine, ears pricked. His eyes were focused upwards, studying the branches. He listened to the light rustling and stopped, bunching his muscles. He tilted his head slightly before scaling the trunk, going just long enough along the backside to snatch a squirrel and drop it downwards, leaving it dazed. He pounced down onto it and killed it quickly, burying it for later. He trotted along the path silently, muscles ripling beneath his sandy-colored coat. He suddenly froze, crouching even closer to the ground. Tailtip flicking lightly, he watched a small grey body scurry along the path before him, pausing at the other side to chew a seed. He slunk closer, keeping his weight at his haunches, which he rocked on before leaping and crushing a vole beneath his paws, managing to kill it before it could alert any other prey. Picking up his prize, he carried it towards the location he buried his squirrel.
