Miles regarded Shadow skeptically as well. "Yes well... how ELSE is he projecting himself into these visions? They aren't hallucinations after all... hallucinations are random and Crophopper and Otter reported essentially the SAME thing... you can't believe in visions without at least giving SOME thought to the possibility that Carew possess mental telepathy." he pointed out to her. He nodded at Spray. "Yes well... I think it's within the realm of possibility. How ELSE can you explain similar visions to two of our group where they seemingly had no control over it? It's just... it's the same car, the same location, but different circumstances, that's all." he stated now.

"There's gotta be something to it. I agree with Miles." Dusty said, watching as Shadow began to drive off with Finn. "I mean... I don't know if it necessarily means we're... well what you said, Spray, but I do think it means we need to be on our guard. If he can infiltrate our minds and show us things then... that's... a formidable opponent I'd say." Dusty said softly, his voice lowered here. "I mean that kind of stuff has never really been definitively proven after all so... it kind of makes me wonder how he's capable of it! Spray... you ever encounter anything like it?" he asked the FBI plane. "How about you, Doc?"

As they conversed, Finn began driving through the restaurant with Shadow. "Agent Carlisle... do you have... feelings for that firefighter?" the Faultless asked her.

Doc - Tag: Everyone

Doc shook his front. "No, I haven't. Even when I was in training for the FBI, I never heard of such a thing being possible." He then looked to Dusty. "In all honesty, I doubt it is possible, but we can't rule it out either. We have no idea of what this Carew guy is capable of. We have to assume the worst when it comes to someone like that."

The ex-racer knew he had a point, but he wasn't sure if others agreed with him. At this point, all they could assume was the worst, and he knew it too.

Spray - Everyone

Spray pursed his lips as he looked down. "Well, to be honest, no, I haven't. But that doesn't mean it isn't possible. I mean, for all we know he could be a psychic, but we have no idea for sure," he said. But... Lately my instincts have been acting up, and they're usually right about things. Not all the time, but quite often. And I'm getting a bad feeling about this Carew guy. And I trust my gut."

As he finished speaking, his ailerons twitched again.

Shadow had to admit that Miles did have a point, despite this. "Well sure, it was the same car in both visions, but i just... I dont know... It's all a bit strange in all honesty and im not sure about what sort of control we have in that case.... Though could it possibly have been.... I dunno, like that film? Inception or something? About having an idea planted, and you think it was your idea, but its not. Could that happen with visions? Is it possible to trigger a vision that way?" SHe asked, though highly doubted it herself. "I just wish we had more to go on than just the visions themselves.... If an agent has a vision, i think we could approach it differently, analyse it in a way. But..... no agent has.." SHe said here, looking at them all. "But other than that... this isn't stuff we deal with normally...so we can't really handle this like a normal case, we have to be more careful, especially if this mind reading thing turns out true"

The Celica fell beside Finn's side, scanning the restaurant in her usual suspicious manner, though was instantly taken by surprise at his forward question. "Do I have feelings for.... Dusty?" She seemed to repeat here, looking to him in a worried expression. She knew how she felt... she knew that what she was developing for Dusty was undeniable... But would Finn look down on it? Try and stop it? She bit her lip a little here, trying to keep a normal expression, but failing. She knew Finn could read her. "I... I may.... have developed an.... attachment to him...." SHe said slowly here, looking away. "An attachment that could have developed into something... a bit more" She said here, daring to glance back at her mission partner.

Miles just gave Shadow an uncertain look, as if he wasn't following at first. Inception? The dream thing? Where others could infiltrate your dreams? But... Dusty and Otter had both been awake as far as he knew... so it didn't fit. "Uh... I don't think that's it." He said softly as she moved off to join Finn, more for the others' benefit. "As far as we know, no such technology exists, and I'm not willing to bank on it. I suppose it's within the realm of possibility... but that was just a movie after all." He sighed here.

"I don't think we know HOW Carew is doing it... or why he showed himself to me or Otter. Otter's was... different from what I heard. Someone from his past was there... someone he... well lost." Dusty interjected. "I didn't see that... just Carew. And I KNOW it's him because I heard an audio file of his voice today! It was him I heard!" he stated positively.

"Well what about the scenery? Any clues?" Miles asked.

"No." Dusty responded, shaking his front here. "It was unlike any place I'd ever seen... like... black rocks... with pinnacles... and uh... buildings shaped like blades on top... almost growing out of the pinnacle itself. If they were buildings! But they had like... glass and stuff I think! But I couldn't really see inside! So uh..." he looked from Spray to Doc. "That sound like... any place you've been? Oh! And there was this weird... blue glow." he added. "Over everything! It permeated the sky and the atmosphere... it was really strange!"

Off to the side, Finn continued driving with Shadow, but applied his brakes when she admitted she liked Dusty... and that it may lead to something more, if it hadn't already. He raised a brow, and gave her a skeptical look. "While I'm not going to stop... love... I would wonder if you aren't being too hasty, Agent Shadow. Are you SURE about this? Do you think... it could compromise your judgment and ability to perform on this mission?" he asked, giving her a steely look. "It's one thing to fake love but... are you sure?" he pressed her, driving toward her a bit. "You know what they say about falling in love with charges on a mission! It's risky!"

She knew upon admitting her words that Finn would have questioned her on it. And of course, they came through, understanding his reaction was stern. She stopped a little after Finn, having not expecting him to have braked so suddenly. "Am I sure? I'm not doubting how I feel Finn.... I know what I feel is real and I've never felt like this before" She said, glancing back to dusty and smiling here. Her gaze drifted back to the Faultless, expression changing to worry. "I wouldn't fake it... why on earth would I fake it? Isn't that cruel?" She asked here, shaking her hood, though lowering it in turn. "I know it's risky... and I know it could impair my judgement... but it shouldn't! I know what my job is... I'll just be wanting to take extra care when it comes to Dusty.... I don't want anything happening to him...." she spoke here, trying not to move her gaze from him. "I just. .. I need to be with him. I know he feels the same as I do"

Spray - Everyone

The black plane's eyes went wide. "What? You serious?" he asked.

His ailerons twitched again and he gulped a bit, that sinking feeling becoming a bit more pronounced. Spray took in a deep breath and let it out before he looked Dusty in the eye. "All I can say for certainty is that wherever this place was, it was not normal. I've been to a few different locations over my career and I have never seen a place like that," he said seriously. "Sorry."

But inside he was getting worried. What was that place?

((Titanic X, I am giving you my FINAL warning regarding your violation of the rules of this RP. STOP metagaming and treating Spray like a Gary Stu. Spray has NOT been to this place, it's NOT familiar to him, so stop acting like you know the plot of this roleplay. I've told you MULTIPLE times to CONSULT with me regarding plot points you want Spray involved in. You've failed to do this every single time you choose to metagame, so I am putting my foot down here. Either follow the rules, or you're going to be kicked from this RP. I'm sick of you ignoring my various attempts to help you understand these straightforward and simple rules. I've told you time and again, CONSULT me regarding plot points and things for Spray revolving around the overarching plot. Nine times out of ten I'm willing to allow ideas if they contribute and work with players. Your failure to do so is kind of pushing me here, so this is my final warning. Stop the metagaming, and stop the Gary Stuing with Spray. The plot does not revolve around him, it revolves around everyone, and he doesn't know all and is not omniscient.))

Finn scowled, and glared daggers at her. "Agent Shadow this is highly irregular! You can't just... well I know it's not FAKE but... you need to be with him? You need to make sure nothing happens to him? He's not the mission Agent Shadow, Hiram Carew is right now!" Finn almost snapped. It was clear he was trying to keep his emotions in check under his hood. "Look you need to focus here! He can't just be your main focus so that you tune out everything at the expense of the mission!" he strongly reminded her. But he stopped here... not wanting to... totally crush her. They WERE mission partners after all.

"But... well... congratulations I suppose it's just... you KNOW what this means right? When an agent... falls in love? She must guard herself against enemy spies... and well... if she's serious... really serious... she has to know what it means for her loved one." he told her now. "The danger it poses to him... we don't lead safe, cushy lives Agent Shadow. He has to UNDERSTAND that... OK? You need to make him aware of it. You have to be up front about it. You can't lie to him about how dangerous it's going to be if he chooses you." Finn advised, more gently this time. "Can you... do that, for him?"

Dusty nodded, a bit disheartened at the lack of news but... well he was pretty sure this place... wherever it was... was somewhere he'd never been. Sighing, he nodded. "Well... I guess we're... pretty much set then. We can all go in as a team together... and get answers. Because that's what I intend to do at least!" he said adamantly.

"Yes... we still haven't determined what I can do..." Miles spoke up, looking around hesitantly at everyone here.

Shadow wasn't expecting his response to be quite so..... abrupt. His tone made her back away a little, not used to him being so harsh with his words toward her. "Y-Yes I understand...." She stammered, looking to him in an almost nervous way. She backed away a little again, her gaze dropping to the floor. "I.... I know he's not... I know that.... I can.... I can focus on the mission" She replied here, looking to the side now, her vision resting upon Dusty for a moment, before tearing her gaze away. She hadn't expected him to react that way... though truth be told she hadn't know HOW he would react. "I can.... focus on the mission.... And leave him alone, if that's what you would rather" She said more quieter here, her form ever so slightly sinking.

"I know what it means to fall.... for him.... I know we live dangerous lives. I know we do.... Would... Would it mean leaving him?" She asked here, looking up at Finn now, an almost desperate expression reaching her. Her heart began to thud a little harder, scared for his answer, praying that it was something she wanted to hear. But she knew he wouldn't lie for her. "I can tell him yes... Though...." SHe stopped here, not sure if she could say.She couldn't say that if Dusty found out about how badly he could be in danger, how often, and include her past in that.... She didn't know if he would stick around.
