the tomcat gazed over his shoulder at raptorfang, his fur prickling slightly. "nothing," he answered coolly, flicking his tail as if he were bored and simply glancing about camp. "what about you? it seems as if you're a curious she-cat."

Raptorfang snorted. "I don't have time for the drama that clan life brings," she retorted. "If not for the fact that my brother lives I would have left long ago," she told the other warrior. She flicked her tail tip.

Beartalon cleared his throat. "Thank you." He mewed, pulling the prey back and finishing it off. Instead of getting up, though, he just started at his Clanmate, for what seemed like moons. "So, um, who do you think will be the next deputy?"

[ a patrol is dealing with rogues on the territory. everyone else is in camp. tallshadow is open if you're willing to roleplay with him. ]

Stallioncry thought for a moment. "Well... I know Tallshadow wants to be deputy. And don't get me wrong, he's a nice cat! But I personally wouldn't vote for him," the red cat told the large tom. "I think you're more deputy-material," he added. "You have my vote," Stallioncy meowed shyly.

"so you're saying you'd rather not be here?" he queried, suspicion lacing his tone. "to be honest, i'd rather not be in this putrid clan either." the sable tomcat gazed off in the general direction of beartalon and stallioncry, his chest burning.

The dark she-cat stretched out her back. "What.... My brother?" she meowed, following Falconheart's gaze. Her cold, bored eyes showed little affection for her littermate. Raptorfang had always been the cold one. Unbeknownst to her brother, it wasn't entirely an accident that their sister Dogkit died.

Beartalon's ears felt like they were one fire. "Wow! Thank you, Stallioncry.. You really think so? I was really hoping it was me, but I'd understand if it was Tallshadow. The brown tom smiled at his Clanmate, please by his complement. "The leader's supposed to announce it by sunhigh. After that, do you want to go for a walk?" That's it, I'm going to tell him! I'll actually do it this time! The large tom though determinedly.

Stallioncry smiled. "Of course!" he replied brightly. He pushed Beartalon's shoulder with his paw playfully. "Hopefully it will be a celebratory walk!" he meowed. I'll tell him about the dream then! And maybe I will tell him about my feelings... Oh stop kidding yourself Stallioncry. He's one of the best warriors this clan has, he doesn't have time for your petty feelings! He probably has his eye on some she-cat...
