Ryelin nodded to them with a strange look

Pallon grunted as Rin elbowed him. He followed her through the hall.

Bear smiled softly with a hint of sadness. "you don't need to thank me for that kal."

As soon as Ryelin was out of earshot, Rin forcibly held her volume low as she laughed, "Oh gods that's was close. Sorry love, are you alright"?

"Yes I do! You couldve been like your mother, or raven, or even Omen! You couldve treated me like s*** like everyone always has! Take my thanks d*** it, cause I'm not taking it back"! Kalten was standing now, his posture still and articulate as he smiled up at him.

Pallon chuckled and smiled. "aye, and thank you for that. Distracted me from bursting out laughing."

Bear chuckled slightly and wrapped kalten in a one armed hug "fine, I'll accept it."

She leaned on his shoulder as they made their way back, "I still feel bad for it though". She kissed his cheek with an apologetic smile.

Kalten hugged him back, burying his face in his shirt. He mumbled something quietly into his shirt.

Pallon grinned. "we'll you shouldn't, because that kiss made up for it." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Bear looked down at kalten with a soft smile. "Hmmm?"

"Good, so whenever I do something bad I can just kiss you"? Rin gave him another her kiss and giggled.

"I said SURPRISE ATTACK"! Kalten chuckled, squeezing under his arm to his back and jumped up, hanging from his shoulders and laughing.

Pallon grinned again "yes, but that might be negative reinforcement."

Bear laughed. "hang on tight, kal." He moved quickly out the door and was heading down the hall.

Rin giggled again, "But you get kisses"! She scooted closer to him a she was wrapped in his arm.

"Whoa"! Kalten laughed maniacally as he gripped Bears shoulders and braced his feet against his back like a horse, "Where are we going"?!

Bear jogged through the halls. "I need to make sure Lady Falrien has everything she needs to take care of DAgan."

Rin pouted with a playful sadness, "Well how do you get kisses for good things"?

Kalten nodded, "Alright let's go"! He climbed the rest of the way onto his shoulder.

Fal'rien had passed out leaning on her hand as she propped herself on the study desk. A neat bag of vials was set amongst the chaos and she muttered lightly in her sleep.

Ii'ander was behind her reading a book of herb recipes and plopping them into a larger bowl. He watched them smolder as he dropped a hot coal into them and differing colors of smoke erupted.
