I'm re-reading the series, and I'm really annoyed with a lot of things.

It bothers me that in the third book, Katniss goes insane after commiting murder and practically kills herself with drugs, then as soon as she's out of her cell, she's fine.

And in the first book, I really like Gale because he's always nice and cares for Katniss and stuff. And then in the second book, he's a complete and total jerk, and in the third book, he sometimes acts like he wishes Katniss would just die so that things could go back to the way they were. Then he just disappears and Katniss never sees him again. >_>

Peeta, however, is always so constant. He's always nice to Katniss, and in the second book when he may not actually be nice, at least he isn't rude. And then in the third book when he's hijacked, he becomes a freak and then he's nice again to the point that he chains himself to stuff. It doesn't bother me, just putting it out there for those who are team Gale.

Team Peeta<3 i loved Gale until the second book as well. I find it inpossible for me to reread the series. i can only reread Chapter 11 on in the 1st book. XD The first games.

I've always been team Peeta. I liked Gale in the first book though, I just didn't think he was right for katniss, I was hoping Gale would stay a good friend.
But instead he completely disappears from her life

Gale was alright and then he got anger issues.

Katniss is an idiot for not realising until the last book that Peeta is the best guy for her.

Snow was just... Snow.

But everyone else was decent. Peeta was amazing. I wish he was real. Rue was the best person ever and I cry every time I read the part where she dies. Finnick was so nice and sweet, especially to Annie. And even though he annoyed me really bad in the first book because he was always drunk, by the end of the series I liked Haymitch a lot. And then there was Prim, and who doesn't love her?

Why was the main character and one of the main guys the dumbest people in the book?

@Steffiedabeagle- I agree with that longest paragraph, I really liked Effie,too, though. I'd thought Haymitch was alright by the end of the second book

And I admire Snow. I mean, he risked his mouth just so he could be president. The man has gut. But as much as I admire the man, I hate him for being an over-confident jerk and killing children just because he can.

Well, if you think about it, Snow didn't have much control over that. Think about it, the games are 75 years old. Snow isn't. It's not his fault, it was by default for him to take control of it, even though he didn't have much control at all. All his supervisors controlled everything.

I still think that as the president, he should've ended the Hunger Games. He's the president, and could've done that if he wanted to. And he fought against Katniss during the rebellion, so obviously he had no issues with the way things were.
