unsheathed his claws and swiped at Mousefoot. "This is how the Dark Forest fights!" Owltalon howled. "Aim to kill, or you can never secure true victory!"

Mousefoot hissed as the claws hit his cheek, unsheathing his claws and lunging under the larger tom's belly, reaching up with a paw to viciously slash at it. "I won't disappoint! And soon, I'll have control of all of the clans! MouseSTAR shall be the greatest thing in all history, with your help!" As he spoke, he didn't pause, lunging up after his roll under the cat's belly. He was a fearsome warrior, at least in the forest, and had killed the former deputy to earn his position.

leaped, hissing, at Mousefoot, hoping to land on his back.


Wildstar

was in deep thought. Should I exile Mousefoot? No, then he'd know that we know his plans and he'd attack. I'll make him think we still believe him, ask him to organize the patrols or something.
Wildstar walked into the warriors den to find Mousefoot, sleeping, hissing. "Wake up, Mousefoot," Wildstar said. "I don't know who to send on the hunting patrol."

Mousefoot froze as he heard Wildstar calling his name, then vanished back down to the material plane as he awoke. "Mmmm?" he grumbled, raising his head, his claws unsheathed in his nest and a fresh gash to his cheek. "Oh, Wildstar. The hunting patrol..." he gets to his paws, then said, "Ask Glacialfrost, Timberrunner and Firestorm." he suggested. "I'd be willing to go as well, I just didn't sleep well last night." he lied easily.

heart quickened when he saw the scratches on Mousefoot. He's been training in the Dark Forest! He thought in horror.
Wildstar nodded, keeping a straight face and padded outside to look for the three warriors.

With a twitch of his ears, Mousefoot sat in his nest, licking a paw to groom his cheek, cleaning it and pushing the fur over the cut to disguise it.

Glacialfrost sat in the clearing, thinking. 'where did he go wrong?' she contemplated, looking back all along the length of his kithood and apprenticeship.

padded up to Glacialforst. "Will you go on the hunting patrol with me, Timberrunner and Firestorm?" He asked.

As Glacialfrost saw Wildstar pad up, she looked up, her eyes lighting with warmpth. "Oh, sure Wildstar." she purred, standing up stretching.

purred. "Great." He mewed. "Now we just have to find Timberrunner and Firestorm, and we can go."

"Alright. I could go check the warriors' den, if you like." she offered, blinking and swishing her tail.
