They reached her den quickly, as she didn't live too far away. "Here we are!" She panted, trying to catch her breath. "Home sweet home." She looked at her cardboard box, which had a two-leg pillow thingy in it that she dragged out of one of the alley trash-cans.

He angrily walked through his alley. I'm not Scotch! How dare she call me that?! he grumbled to himself. "I'll show her!" he glanced down at his collar, which was studded with "trophy's." He then broke into a run. The wind rustled against his tabby fur, as he ran. His yellow eyes blazed with anger, some old, some new. He kept on running, anger keeping him going. At last he stopped, to find himself in a dark alley. He panted, gssping for breath.
