Batpaw inwardly hissed at Nightstar's threat, but on the outside, he just lifted his head, his milky eyes locking on Nightstar. But, he was distracted upon hearing Orangesong. Turning his milky gaze to Orangesong, he offered a small smile. "Hi." Oh Starclan, don't let me mess this up... no tantrums tonight... He opened his maw to say more, but hearing the leader's speak he fell silent and turned his attention towards the area the sound had come from.

She meowed, dipping her head respectfully before she steppe forward."I will go next." She announced."LeafClan has had some difficult times lately, but we will soon over come them. Two of our she-cats have given birth, so there are new apprentices to be expected from our Clan soon." She meowed with a proud look.

So they are suffering and starving now, with large dogs wandering the territory and their old leader dead, not to mention a kittypet that they can't catch? Batpaw's namesake ears laid flat back, and his milky turquoise eyes narrowed ever so slightly. That was a tad bit too much information in his opinion. Regardless, it helped his clan to know what was going on. Straightening a bit as his leader spoke, he couldn't help but notice she didn't mention Pebblestep's death directly. Perhaps she was thinking the same way as he. The less information the better. Or maybe it was just him. Remaining silent as was the custom, he shifted slightly, wondering if Windtail was thinking the same thing.

Nightstar nodded, recalling some fresh dog scents. He took his place, then said " TimberClan has been doing well. Our previous deputy, Adderstrike, now hunts in StarClan. Our Medicine Cat, Orangesong, has chosen an apprentice, Ravenpaw. There are kits in the nursery, which means there will be new apprentices and warriors to come. Prey is running well, though since the hard rain, we are getting prepared for a flood, if one might happen." He stepped down, his bright green gaze glowing a wispy color in the moonlight.
