After Batpaw had given Ravenstar the herbs, he padded after Windtail silently, keeping his thoughts to himself even as his nose twitched alertly. No cat gets left behind... Then, the strange scents of other clans' hit him. His heart began to race, and his namesake ears perked; his milky eyes locked on the direction the scents wafted from.

Batpaw raised both eyebrows, clearly surprised at the rude and uncontrolled behavior of their 'paw. Asking Starclan to keep her away from him, the apprentice nodded to his mentors words. Forcing himself to relax, the raven apprentice listened, keeping his head slightly lowered.
