Vixenpaw was trembling all over waiting for her leader's response but then she yowled, " Glacierfrost!"

Glacialfrost, hearing her name, stood and trotted into the leader's den, where her apprentice was. "Yes? What's up, Vixenpaw?"

Vixenpaw took in a deep breath, " I know the new propchey and I need you to believe every word I saw, okay? Even if it sounds weird, trust me Hawkpaw told me it- Beware the bite of the mouse, so seemingly meek and humble. Look to the stars to defeat the darkness at the heart of the clan. And the mouse represents Mousefoot and the stars are obviously StarClan and I'm positive as I'll ever be." She looked into her eyes as she spoke every word, her trembling even more than before.

Glacialfrost looked at the young shecat, swishing her tail. "You're telling me that Hawkpaw told you that Mousefoot, who hasn't done anything wrong in his life, is going to do something horrible?" she wanted to believe her, really she did, but she was having trouble believing that the tom would do something like that.

Vixen paw's brown eyes were wide with fear as she nodded swiftly, " Half correct. You're correct that he's going to do something bad but sadly Mousefoot has just pretended to be all nice and a goodie two paws to receive the rank of a deputy then leader to ruin our clan. Trust me, Glacierfrost, I know what I'm talking about." She pleaded.

Glacialfrost crouched low, looking baffled, a low, hurt growl in her throat. "I... I don't know if I can believe this... But if it's a message from starclan.... Wildstar?" she turned to the leader, wanting his oppinion and comfort in this troubling situation.

shivered. "How could I be so naive?" He hissed. "Oceanstar told me, and he hasn't spoken to anyone since he was a kit, so it must be really important."
Wildstar shivered again. "Please, accept my apologies, Vixenpaw>" (I'll add Snakeclaw in a moment)

Vixenpaw nodded, " Yes. It's from StarClan. That's why I told you to wait before we went on the patrol, I was talking with Hawkpaw." Her expression became more dreamily when she spoke of the name but she snapped herself back into her feared expression. She turned back to Wildstar, " It was Hawkpaw not Oceanstar, trust me." She pleaded.

Glacialfrost flinched. "But... he was such a good kit..." she choked, trembling. "I... I raised him... This... This is my fault... What if they've got the wrong cat? It's happened before... Look at what happened with the Three, and Firestar!" She looked at wildstar, horrified. "Please, give him a chance! He... He didn't do anything wrong!" (That she knows...)

Mousefoot slips into a dreamless slumber, just waiting to be called.
