Isabelle closes her eyes for a moment only to have images of the accident flash through her mind. She opens her eyes and pulls back as the images continues. She hands the cup to Emily before wrapping her arms around her leg and trembles slightly as the flashback continued.

Flynn watched Hollie watching her and felt... kind of uncomfortable. She made a goofy face, then flopped back on the grass again. "It'll be okay." Won't it?

Felix smiled. "Okay. Let's go get Flynn and the other girls first, okay?" He turned and crouched. "I guess I gotta fulfill my promise. Hop on."

Madeline grinned and jumped up on Felix's back. It took her a moment to find her balance and she had to almost climb up his back to reach a spot where she could stay on. Once she was settled she shove her finger forward and into the air. "To the backyard!" she shouted. "...I think. They're in the backyard, right?"

After getting unpacked, I quickly changed into something less formal. Then I went downstairs, and asked Paige, "When does the school year start?" Somewhat happy. School is something I was a pro at.

Kimber pulled out the ear plugs in her head and wrapped them around the iPod. She stood up and tucked it in the pocket with her notepad. She walked downstairs and went into the room that sounded the quietest. She peeked her head into the door, hair flying around. She saw the girl Paige and some new kid she didn't know.

Felix laughed. "To the backyard!" He hurried down the stairs, bouncing in an attempt to make Madie giggle, and out the door. "Flyyyyyynnnnn!" he called, grinning goofily. "Hollie! Rose! Wanna play a game with Madie and I? Huh? Do ya?" He looked kind of ridiculous with a girl on his back, that goofy grin, and his inability to stand still for longer than, oh, point seven seconds.

Kimber looked up at the older boy. He didn't look like the other kids and he talked differently. But he seemed nice so maybe it was okay. She took a few steps into the room and stopped. She stared at him for a few seconds before pulling out her notepad and writing down her name in big letters.

She turned it around and showed it to him, her little arms reaching up high so he could see.
