xxxxxxxxxnow. Either thrown out, abandoned, forgotten, or
xxxxxxxxa run away. It's quite sad really, the amount of dogs
xxxxxxxxxxout here. Some of them found it was easier to
xxxxxxxxsurvive together, rather than alone, and have started
xxxxxxxxxa pack. This pack resides in a more rural part of
xxxxxxDetroit, in an abandoned apartment building. The others,
xxxxxxxwell they're everywhere. The pack fiercely defends it's
xxxxxxxxterritory, while the strays have none. Pick your ranks
xxxxxxxxxxwisely, they don't take too kind to betrayers.

rp rules

one | all of tess's rules apply.
two | wolf hybrid dogs are accepted as long as they are mostly dogs.
three | small dog breeds are accepted, but can not be in the pack.
four | post at least two complete sentences. Make sure it's enough to reply to.
five | if you do not post after three days, you will be taken down from the ranks. If you are going to be gone, please send me a pm ahead of time.
six | use the discussion forum for all and any OOC and to post your forms.
seven | do not start any major drama without asking my permission
eight | take your dogs' breeds into account.

example: a rottweiler cannot run as fast as a grey hound, and a grey hound can easily be overpowered.

nine | no joining with pups younger than 5 months without a mother. If you do, they must be found immediately.
ten | you may only have one lead role in the pack.
eleven | if you do not specify what breed they are, i will put them in as mutts.
twelve | absolutely no wolves. They may be a mix, but a dog breed must be the dominant breed.
thirteen | i trust you have read the rules. if your form does not meet requirements you will not be accepted. i will give you one chance to change it.
fourteen | once you reserve a spot, you must post your form in the next day or so, or i will open that spot.
fifteen | if the above is a problem, pm me and we can work something out.
sixteen | when you're leaving for an extending period of time, i will strike out your character, but you will still be in the rp. Its just to help me keep track.

locations

The pack dogs take refuge in an old abandoned apartment building. It has many floors so I'm sure you will find a room that is quaint enough for yourself. There is a ruling to where your room will be though. The Alpha, second in command, deputies and high ranking dogs get the top floor. Fighters get the next floor down, then hunters. The third floor is the scavengers, then mothers, pups, or injured dogs get their choice of the last two floors. Healers may stay wherever they see fit, although the ground floor is where most stay. The part of the city where this is has hardly any humans. However they are not far away, and sometimes come into this part. There is a park that is very overgrown, home to small animals that can be hunted as food.
Out in the city it's.. well a city. People everywhere, cars, businesses, pounds, dog catchers, everything a stray dog would fear.

Vali woke up in his room on the top floor of the abandoned building. The cieling wasn't exactly there, however it gave a gentle breeze at night, and let the warm sun in the morning. This was a disadvantage in the winter however, as there was a small layer of snow over everything. Vali let out a yawn as he stood up and stretched, the old floor creaking under his blue paws. He walked out of his room and started down the stairs, looking around on every floor to see who was awake. Once he stopped on the ground floor, his hazel eyes eagerly scanned the place for fresh kill, or pack members. Once finding a few awake, and a small kill pile, he walked over grabbing a large rabbit for himself and dragging it off to where he ate his meals. It was a small room, may have been previously used as an office. There was an old wooden desk with some odd things Vali couldn't name on top. Under, was some moss he laid on to eat his meal.

Whiskey laid in her makeshift bed on the second floor for a little bit before actually getting up. Despite how early she usually got up, she was a little more tired today. The fae slowly rose from her bed and shook out her white fur before slowly padding out of her room in search of either easy food or others who had maybe hunted already. She avoided crossing paths with Vali, as they had fought before and she now stayed out of his way. She lowered her ears a little as she saw him drag away a large rabbit, her stomach grumbled at the site. After he left, she slowly walked towards the pile, stiffing at a mouse and quickly scarfing it down. It wasn't much, but it'd tide her over for a bit.

Daemon was still asleep, dreaming of being in a forest, hunting large prey. He started kicking his legs in his sleep, causing him to fall off the ledge he was sleeping on. It wasn't much of a fall, at most, maybe 3 feet, but it was enough to cause a rude awakening. He landed on his side with a yelp, and immediately jumped up, scanning the area for intruders. Seeing no one was there, he relaxed a bit, letting his hackles down. He let out a growl, shaking his head to chase away left over sleepiness. The rottweiler then shook the dirt out of his pelt from the fall, and confidently trotted out of the apartment building he was living in. Daemon smirked a bit as he walked out, it wasn't a life that any house pet would want, but Daemon loved it.

Hodur woke up to the sound of heavy traffic and loud people. The brute let out a whine of disdain as he rose from the cold concrete, his bones aching from the hard ground. He shook out his pelt and stretched in an attempt to shake the feeling, then quickly padded out of the alley way onto a crowded street. Immediately people were moving out of the way, whispering nonsense of what a vicious dog. The large brute smirked as he neared his favorite place, a restaurant. They threw out half the food they made. Hodur walked into the alleyway by the food place and quickly located the dumpster with the most food in it. Bon appetit.

Nova awoke to the stirring of the other pack dogs and her stomach immediately grumbled. Jumping up, she made her way downstairs to the pile of fresh kill and picked up a squirrel for herself and a rat for Cable. She trotted back to his room on the floor with the rest of the fighters--a level above her own, unfortunately--and tossed the rat onto his sleeping form before going back down to eat and observe the rest of the pack from a corner, where she wouldn't be in any bigger dog's way.

Cable felt something warm and heavy hit his muzzle and opened his eyes to come face-to-face with a rat. He shook it off and yipped a thanks to Nova as she swept out of the room, a black blue racing out the doorway. Scarfing it down, he stood up and stretched the sleep from his muscles and shook out his pelt. He gazed out the window at the early morning sun for a moment before trotting downstairs and out the front door to sit on the sidewalk, breathing in with his nose raised in the air.

He grumbled as he woke up, the floor boards creaked loudly as he slowly stood up, he let a yawn escape his maw before stretching his muscles, he slowly walked over to the stairs, he slowly stepped down with each touch of a paw they creaked, all the way until he was on the bottom floor, Well, its a wonder how any could sleep through that..he thought referring to the noise the steps made as he walked down them, once he reached the bottom floor he let once again another yawn escape his mouth before he proceeded out of the doors and into the sun. The german shepherd laid down with his head placed neatly on his paws and his hazel eyes scanning for any intruders on their territory.

The young hunter female woke up upon hearing the steps creak as the large brute made his way down the unforgiving steps, she decided to lay back down and try get some more sleep before she exited the building and did some hunting. (Sorry bad writers block for lassie)

Cable looked over to see one of his fighters come outside and lay down near him. He nodded once in greeting to Sniper before gazing back out over the street. His paws were itching to get out and do something, but it was still early. Maybe later he could convince his fighters to do a practice drill, or they could always go out on a patrol. He gazed over his shoulder at the old building, scents of the other dogs wafting out towards him on the early morning breeze.

Nova, quickly getting bored waiting inside for the other dogs to wake up, jogged out the front door and past Cable and Sniper. She yipped a hello to the two before turning down the street for her morning run, stride opening up as she picked up speed. She adored the feeling of wind brushing through her fur, paws pounding the ground. She rounded a corner and came up on the part that they did most of her hunting in. She did a quick lap, playfully snapping at a couple of butterflies and a squirrel, before turning back towards home.

Aurora

The Belgian Malinois was asleep. The female twitched as she dreamed off running through a forest after a deer. She was chasing right behind it before a man with a bat hopped in front of the deer. Causing a nightmare to be born. She whimpered as she dreamt and soon woke herself up. She was relieved she had woken up and was breathing heavily. Aurora felt like she had just ran many miles. The dog was laying in an alley, teens came down in to smoke but never noticed the canine. There was also a dumpser near by she could get food from. Aurora stood to her feet, getting the bad dream out of her head as she looked around. Nobody seemed to be near her and she trotted to the left. The smell of food settled in her nose and she picked up her pace. A large trashcan was set in the alley next to the dumpser and that's where the smell came from. The slim canine knocked the contraption over with her nose and caused some of its things to fall out. The dog dug her nose into the trash and pulled out the delightful scented item, hamburger. Aurora ripped into the paper wrapping and bit into the sandwich. She continued to eat the food before it was gone. She licked the wrapper to make sure that was no more and when she came to the conclusion she ha finished, she trotted off.

(Sorry, I got a new job and they refuse to let me rest at all ;-; ) I'll try to post tomorrow or sunday when I have less hours, but so far I don't think I actually have a day off.)
