Mousefoot smelled fear. It was strong in his nose. Had someone discovered his plot? Impossible. Nobody could do that, he hadn't even told anyone yet... Unless they'd discovered that he'd... Helped with the last deputy's death...He sped up to a trot, swishing his tail.

Vixenpaw's stump of a tail twitched as she kept her eyes peeled on Mousefoot, stilling padding next to Glacierfrost, " No. I mean watch it real good. I don't want anything to happen from a certain cat." She flicked her little tail in the direction of Mousefoot.

Glacialfrost looked a little baffled. "You sure you haven't just had a bad bit of freshkill?"

Mousefoot's gray gaze on them was lukewarm as he turned. "Your chattering is going to warn anyone who's on the border then we'll lose the element of surprise." he growled. "So if you could, please be quiet."

Jackalstar himself decided to check the windclan borders. He walked, approaching the Thunderclan-Windclan borders, but keeping to his side. He sniffed the air. Three cats were approaching, all of the same clan. He shrugged and continued to patrol.
