Shadowstar led him to one of the nests. "You will be staying until you can walk home alone," Shadowstar instructed. She trotted back out, looking around for an available warrior.

"What am I going to tell my clan?" nobody knew about his crush on Shadowstar, just himself and maybe Shadow, so the clan may suspect if he is with BrambleClan and well this is kinda fishy to them anyway.

Shadowstar was giving orders to Cloudpatch, who soon bounded off. She turned back to Shadowstar. "Cloudpatch is going to tell them now. You'll be staying in my den tonight, where I can keep an eye on you. Even in this shape you could injure an untrained cat."

"I could injure an untrained cat? Like this I can't even injure an apprentice! Also why would I want to harm anyone?" he sighed.

Shadowstar flicked her tail. "You're still an enemy." She stalked towards the prey pile. She picked up a shrew and padded back, tossing it at his paws. "Eat."

"Well if I am enemy why not treat me like a prisoner Shadowstar? You and I both know why you are not." He looked at the shrew. He prodded it, not feeling hungry.

Shadowstar's fur rose. "Because BrambleClan is kind. If you'd rather I drag you back and dump you back into the lake, I wouldn't have a problem."
