How common is it to have a day where nothing develops? I've only been a member since last November, but I don't remember this ever happening during that time.

They don't usually grow for the first few days, but after a while they will. I think chickens and rodents are first.

But for the past few months at least something grew on the first day.. (I'm not talking about the day we adopted the pets and had the PPS rat) I scrolled through the archives and I'm pretty sure this is the first month in 2015 where nothing grew on the first day.

A little tardy to the party this month, but I am loving the pets so far. I am probably most looking forward to the dogs and 2nd Gen cats. Not as big on the normal cat adopts, as overly bright colors tend to hurt my eyes, but as always, I'll wait until they grow for final judgement.

Most likely.

Yes. Actually though more common now a days on CS, back in the old days we'd typically have a waiting period of 3-4 days before anything began to grow. As the system got more organized and more species were added, things changed a bit. But it's definitely not unheard of for nothing to grow on the first day.
