Specklefrost padded over to Featherstar, who was muttering about mentors. "Why didn't you tell me they were being apprenticed today?" She demanded.

Nutkit
Nutkit followed Frostkit and mewed to Amberkit encouragingly "Yeah, come hang out with us! It'll be fun."

Frostkit
She looked up at her brother. "She's refusing everything..." She said quietly.

ShadowPelt
He pushed through the gorse lining of the camp. He padded over to Featherstar and mewed promptly, "All Clear."

Featherstar
She nodded to acknowledge ShadowPelt. "I was actually just coming over to ask you about possible Mentors. I was thinking Brownfeather for Frostkit and either Blackwing or Cheetahheart for Nutkit." She said.

Cheetahheart:
Cheetahheart padded over to the kits. "Hey!" She mewed as sat alongside the kits. "Trying to talk to Amberkit?" She asked Frostkit.

"Cheetahheart is young, but she's experienced. I think she would make a great Mentor for Nutkit." She mewed.

Nutkit
"We're trying to get her to play with us, but she refuses." He said sullenly.

Frostkit
"Don't be so harsh, Nutkit. She's just lost her mother AND Brother, for StarClan's Sake!" She added. "But, yes. She won't do anything except sit around camp and sulk."

ShadowPelt
He nodded briskly and walked away.

Featherstar
"Glad to hear your opinion." She said. "Will you go tell Cheetahheart, while I find Brownfeather?" She asked. "They need to be told."

"Oh hey Shadowpelt." She smiled at the approaching cat.

"Hey, Cheetahheart." He mewed. "I think SpeckleFrost is looking for you..." He said, motioning with his tail toward the she-cat, looking over at them.

She located Brownfeather at the edge of Camp, grooming. "Hey, I need to talk to you about Frostkit." She meowed.
