Your answer is correct,but I am only adding on to that,new Staff who may have applied like now,they must've got at least one,but I am not sure if Admins have gotten Warnings,since they usually are in charge of the warnings,but like Lilly said,nobody's perfect!

There are both GH and staff members who have received warnings, but it would be a violation of their privacy to say who. I only know this information because I am friends with some members of staff who have told me about past warnings; GH do not have access to any warning history, only Moderators do.

I think you guys are worrying more than you need to. |D Warnings do not completely disqualify you from being selected, but staff members are people who are looked up to and respected by the community and are users that we seek guidance from. If you do not have a warning that puts you in that position, then you don't have to worry too much. There is a difference between a kindhearted user who has matured over the past few years as opposed to someone who has not been treating others nicely.

I think that the subject of warnings should be dropped altogether, because there isn't anything that hasn't already been covered! Each application is a case-by-case basis and is looked at individually. It is impossible to tell you that x type of warning will result in y choice.

Please understand, everyone, that it is pretty impossible for us to give answers like "If you got a warning for ___ and it happened ___ months ago under ___ circumstances, it would decrease your chances of being hired by ___ amount." First, every case is different and would need to be considered individually; second, this isn't in any way a mathematical equation that can spit out percentages like that, or even really general estimates; third, there are many other variables besides warnings involved here. ^^"

Tess's post here explains just about everything we can tell you regarding past warnings, so please try to avoid asking further questions about warning scenarios and how it affects your chances of being chosen, as I believe the topic has already been addressed as much as it can be. Other questions are still welcome, of course!

They hire new mods every year as far as I've read, since previous staff usually quit during the years and the site population grows.
