Tigerfur padded over to Hourstar and sat next to her, looking up at the stars. "So, you're a new leader." She mewed awkwardly, trying to start a conversation.

Tigerfur nodded and asked, "Do you have any advice for me? Old deputy to new? I'm happy that I was trusted with this job, but at the same time I feel a little overwhelmed."

Lightbreeze - She cat - Warrior - Tag: Cantata

Lightbreeze was near the edge of the border. The smell of a new and unfamiliar cat wafted down through the air. She glanced up at some nearby trees and pulled her ears back. She knew there was a cat in the branches of one of the trees; she could smell him. She crouched down and slunk over to the base of the tree and tried to determine whether to confront the cat or not.

Cantata saw a pretty she-cat come nearer and nearer, and knew that she knew he was there. He hoped that this wouldn't come to a fight, but he also wouldn't let her push him around. "Leave me be, clan cat." He said in a not-threatening way. "I'm not on your territory, I'm not bothering you."

She growled and lashed her tail. I'm a medicine cat, I don't fight. she remined herself. So instead she let her fur lie flat. Dipping her head, she meowed, "Okay." she then picked up her herbs amd headed back towards camp.

Her pale eyes widened when he spoke. She sat there for a moment, still trying to make a choice. She could easily turn around and go back to camp-then that would be the end of it. But she'd never seen a loner before, and curiousity got the best of her. Lightbreeze shot up the tree and perched on the first branch, a few feet down from him. "Who are you?" She mewed up at him.

Cantata looked down at her and replied, "my name is Cantata. Care to share your name? That is how this sort of conversation works, isn't it?" His fluffy tail lashed out, keeping him balanced.

Sasha perked her ears. She really thought she'd have to fight the clan cat. For some reason, she was intrigued, "Wait!", Sasha called to the clan cat.
[Do I have anyone else I need to respond to? If not, then pretty much all my cats are open.]

"What do you mean, 'this sort of conversation'?" Lightbreeze dug her claws into the bark and gave him a skeptical yet guarded look. She had decided to ignore the first question.
