(Yes, I know. Lionlight's just getting over-excited since he likes Swanfoot.)

Lionlight stared at Swanfoot, trying to read her expression. Does she not like me? He thought, extremely puzzled by the she-cat's confusing words. Maybe i should just go now... it doesn't seem like she wishes to talk to me. Lionlight shook his head, and sighed. "Um, I guess I'll be going now," He murmured, turning around to walk away. And I really wished that she wanted to talk to me.

Pepper

Hmm... what an intriguing opportunity, Pepper thought, smirking subtly. Not this time. I'll be hanging around, though. Pepper shook her head. "Thank you for the offer, but I don't think your clanmates would want a house-cat like me in their camp," She said, raising a paw to her mouth and swiping her tongue over it. "I'll be going now. Nice to meet you... Emeraldsky," She said, still confused about the cat's unique name.

Emeraldsky nodded, absolutely fine with the kittypet's decision. "Yes. Goodbye for now, Pepper," she meowed, ears flattening once more as rain continued to fall down. She darted off into the forest, happy that the canopy the trees made protected her from most of the raindrops. Emeraldsky made her way through the undergrowth, following a usual path she took to get to and from camp. She the saw the cliff come into view, and hurried into camp, relieved that there was no rain annoying her any longer. The she-cat slowed to a trot and made her way to the fresh-kill pile, taking a squirrel. She was tired from her search for herbs, and also needed something to eat. Emeraldsky took her meal over to the opening of her den and ate, licking her lips afterward. Now satisfied, she turned and padded into her den, her heavy breathing going back to normal. She pawed through the collection of herbs she had gotten, and sorted them out. "Okay. Five batches of catmint, a lot of blackberry leaves and a bit of borage leaves, a large batch of cobwebs, a small amount of dock, feverfew, and marigolds." She mewed the amount and the name of each herb as she placed them in their spots. "There," Emeraldsky said to herself, noticing her matted and wet fur. She immediately began cleaning her pelt, annoyed that the rain had mostly destroyed it. ((woah long post))

Pepper

Pepper narrowed her light green eyes as the Wild Cat hurried off. She turned her head back to her house, and walked to the back door. She yowled pitifully, hoping her housefolk would notice her drenched pelt, and wide-saucer eyes. She waited a few moments, and wailed again, louder this time. She began rubbing the door. She was trying to claw at it, but no front claws made it impossible. Finally, the housefolk's mother she-cat walked downstairs on her hindlegs. She looked over at the door, and gasped. She rushed over to the door and opened it. Pepper walked in, wailing. She heard the she-cat say things to her, not making out most of it. The mother closed the door quickly, and began walking upstairs. Pepper followed, eager to get dry again.

Lightningpaw spotted Emeraldsky pad into camp and head straight for the fresh kill pile. He decided to let her finish eating before talking to her. When she went into the medicine den, he went in after bit. He walked in whilst she was cleaning her pelt and spoke. "Emeraldsky, may I speak to you?"

Swanfoot
Swanfoot lifted her head and blinked slowly, confused. "W-Where are you going?" she asked, quietly. The white cat kept her head up this time. He seems unsure about something. Swanfoot took a pace forward. "Is there something t-troubling you? I'd help i-if there is." Swanfoot offered rather awkwardly. She gave a small but shy smile, a rare sight from her.

"Oh, so you do want to talk to me?" he stated in the form of a question. He instantly regretted his words, knowing they sounded a bit rude. "Sorry. It's just you weren't saying much..." Or rather, the things you were saying didn't make sense. He smiled back at her. "I just wanted to talk to you. I'm kinda bored," He said, licking his chest fur uncomfortably.

Larkpaw noticed Harepaw padding towards the fresh-kill pile. She looked excitedly at Thrushpaw. "There's Harepaw!" She squeaked, beginning to bounce over, then stopping herself when her tailbone began to burn. "Let's go say hi." She began to limp over to Harepaw, and she smiled in a friendly way. "Hi Harepaw! What's up?" She greeted. Larkpaw has always been a companionable cat. She always took the time to greet her fellow clanmates.

Emeraldsky looked up, cleaning the last bit of her fur. "Oh, hello Lightningpaw. We can talk," she replied to his question, dipping her head. ((sorry wb right after a long paragraph... typical me ;3;))

"Y-Yeah, I want to talk. Oh, and don't worry. I usually don't say much." Swanfoot meowed, quietly. She sat down and looked down before thinking, Why am I looking down? What am I to look down for? The she-cat quickly looked up and opened her mouth to speak before realizing that he might have something to say.

Lightningpaw stood in front of her. "I heard that you were choosing a apprentice for yourself... And Iam here to tell you that iI would love to be your apprentice if I had the chance," hr meowed to her, looking sincere.

Emeraldsky chuckled lightly. "Well, what a coincidence," she replied. "I was going to choose you as my apprentice. I'm sure Faithstar is going to start the ceremony sometime soon," she added, looking out of her den entrance and seeing the leader.
