Rainstar nodded and sighed. "I guess this is why I was never meant to be a mother." She paused realizing that came out of nowhere to Bluefeather. "Orchardkit, uh, slept in my den last night." she grinned sheepishly offering an explanation for her train of thought.

He stomped his paws at his older sister. "No I mean both of us!" He sat down on his haunches. "Would you let Bumblekit go outside with me if he was awake and Vinekit was asleep?"

"Don't remember?" Snowpaw meowed curiously. "Do you remember seeing me with a calico yesterday?
