_____Amoryn is a world filled with an interesting array of people, kingdoms, and creatures. It is difficult to glean absolutely everything about every single kingdom found in Amoryn, as some kingdoms are friendly while others remain hostile and secluded. So far, only one kingdom has been forthcoming with information about themselves by providing a map and descriptions of places. Others have given very little. As time passes, more kingdoms and more information will appear as players explore and unlock new maps. Keep an eye out here for announcements regarding new information!

HEPRUCURIA HAS BEEN UNLOCKED!!!

Thanks to the brave explorers K H A L E E S I, Featherberry123, Crystal River, Cojinxleafbelle,
TheNightsIllusion, ola232, dr pepper., Grapecat, Vaas, SpeednGrace, and cailynmae,
a new map has been unlocked! The kingdom of Heprucuria has been officially discovered!
Thank you all for your efforts in helping to unlock the new map!

About Amoryn

_____The world of Amoryn is somewhat different from Earth but also the same in some ways. They have some of the same technologies as Earth, as well as social cultures. However, Amoryn is several hundred years behind Earth regarding most technology and social culture. Think the Renaissance and earlier. Their kingdoms are ruled by kings and queens, who own legions of knights and soldiers. Most of the people are peasants and have very little to their names. Some citizens in certain kingdoms are more well off than those in other countries; it mostly depends on how the king and queen treat their subjects.

_____The fashion choices for the people of Amoryn is also similar to that of the Renaissance and earlier. Typical garb for peasants would be simple dresses for the women, and tunic and breeches for the men. In some of the kingdoms you may find women that wear tunics and breeches along with the men, but this is not common practice. Knights and soldiers wear armor and chain mail. Kings and queens are only seen in the highest quality silks, wools, linens, and furs.

_____The biggest difference between Amoryn and Earth is the fact that real magic exists in Amoryn. There are large quantities of witches and wizards that practice magic all throughout Amoryn. Magic is closely governed by the people, as it is a great force that can be easily used to create chaos and mayhem. There is a huge trade industry for magical charms and objects, and magical items are typically valued highly. Some kingdoms are more tolerant of magic use than others, but for the most part magic is used everywhere.

_____Amoryn is home to not only humans and animals seen on Earth, but many strange and magical creatures, too. Everything from banshees to unicorns, fairies to dragons, and everything in between reside in Amoryn. If there is a myth or legend or story of a beast or creature on Earth, you will find that beast or creature somewhere in Amoryn. Some of them are just easier to find than others.

_____There are five kingdoms in Amoryn. So far, only Pomavaria is explorable. The other four maps will need to be unlocked before they can be explored, as well. To see how to unlock a specific map, check the Goals to Unlock section beneath each locked map. Each goal must be checked off before a map will be unlocked.

_____Credit for exploring certain places on a map will be dealt with my rainbowpanda101; when a person posts to explore a certain area, she will mark a check next to that place to show that it has been explored by someone. Once a place on a map has been explored and checked off, the next person to explore that place on the map will not get credit for it unless it is needed to be explored twice for a map to be unlocked.

_____Answers to riddles and questions must be private messaged to rainbowpanda101. You can try to answer a riddle or question from any map at any time. If a riddle or question is answered correctly, it will be checked off, the answer will be listed, and the username of the person who answered correctly will be added after the riddle or question. Whoever answers a riddle or question correctly first gets a prize! Try not to cheat and look up the answers to the riddles online; it will be more fun and rewarding if you get the riddles on your own! As for the questions, the answers can be found in the main thread and this thread.

_____Cooperation between people is highly encouraged! Get together in private message with other players to discuss where to explore next and figure out answers to riddles and questions! If you and a partner want to attempt to answer a riddle or question together, both of you can send a private message to rainbowpanda101 with the same answer. Just let her know that you figured it out with a partner and who your partner was. If you get the answer correct, you both win a prize!

_____Pomavaria has many landscapes to explore, from desert sands to muggy bogs to snowy mountains! The King and Queen of Pomavaria live in Brass Castle, a marvelous city carved into the side of a mountain cliff. From there, they govern their land and keep peace and harmony among all Pomavarians. Life has been quite peaceful for the citizens of the kingdom for a couple of generations now. The King and his Queen do their best to keep good relations with neighboring kingdoms.

Aurora City

_____Aurora City was magically built out of gigantic rose quartz crystals. The city is well known for its auroras, from which it got its name. Every night, the magical denizens use their magic to cast breathtaking auroras over the entire city. In September is the Borealis Banquet, a city-wide celebration during which the wizards and witches go all out when casting the auroras and grand feasts are provided for all to attend. One of the most spectacular things about the city is when the auroras are cast, they are reflected in the crystal walls of the city's buildings and streets.

Blennerhassett Bog

_____Blennerhassett Bog is a bog filled with strange and dark creatures. It is difficult to navigate because of a blanket of constant, dense fog. People who attempt to enter the bog are typically drenched and chilled to the bone within minutes. The bog is named for Bartholomew Blennerhassett, who is the only known person to venture into the heart of the bog and return to talk about it. He even published a novel describing his experiences. Before Blennerhassett explored the bog, it was known as the Foggy Bog.

Brass Castle

_____The Brass Castle is a spectacular castle-like city carved into the side of a mountain cliff in the Pomavaria Mountains. King Dannet and Queen Athelyna, the King and Queen of Pomavaria, reside in the castle. It is called the Brass Castle because of its castle-like structure and because it is well-known for its many, many talented musicians who all play on instruments made of brass - such as trumpets, bugles, and tubas. Having a musician from the Brass Castle play at one of your events is considered a very high honor.

Crescent Springs

_____Crescent Springs is a city located near one of the tributaries that branch off the Pomavaria River. It is known for its relaxing hot springs. It is a "hot spot" for tourists and has more foreigners than any other city in the kingdom. One of the most well-known pastries in the Pomavaria kingdom comes from this city - the Crescent Roll! The citizens of Crescent Springs are the best at making the delightful delicacies.

Dragon Desert

_____The Dragon Desert got its name because it is inhabited by dragons known as Sansizards, which are the size of polar bears. The dragons are not aggressive and are quite intelligent. Despite the friendliness of the dragons, no humans have attempted to live in the desert. They prefer to live in the forests and mountainous regions that cover the rest of the kingdom.

Forest of Green

_____The Forest of Green got its name because it is green throughout the year, even during winter! All of the trees in the Forest of Green are evergreen trees, which means they do not lose their leaves. Strangely enough, the Forest of Green never sees any snow. It can get very cold and rainy in the forest, but it never gets cold enough for snow.

Garland Grove

_____Garland Grove is an interesting city built in the middle of an expansive apple orchard. The city buildings are actually tree houses built into the trees. Every year, in July, the city has a celebration known as Apple Appreciation Day. Garlands are made from the leaves and flowers of the apple trees and placed everywhere. Bobbing for apples, apple tosses, and other apple-related games are played to win prizes. Apple-related treats are also prevalent during the celebration.

Garland Orchard

_____The Garland Orchard is the vast orchard of apple trees surrounding Garland Grove. There are no other types of trees in the entire orchard - just apple trees. The citizens of Garland Grove take great care of the apple trees, making sure each tree is pruned and watered. The trees are watered by wells connected to natural reservoirs of water deep underground.

Mariposa Plains

_____The Mariposa Plains are a wide expanse of grassy fields full of swarms of magical butterflies known as Lightningbreezes. Unlike normal butterflies, Lightningbreezes can breed any time during the year and have a much longer lifespan. The butterflies are quite gentle and enjoy swarming onto people who decide to visit their fields.

Mariposa Village

_____The Mariposa Village is a tiny village between the Mariposa Plains and the Dragon Desert. The village is known for its absolutely gorgeous hand sewn crafts - blankets, clothing, tablecloths, and more. They make everything from Lightningbreeze silk, which Lightningbreezes make when they are caterpillars. Women of the village are taught at an early age how to sew and craft beautiful linens. The Queen of Pomavaria gets most of her clothing from Mariposa Village.

Meadowbrook Falls

_____Meadowbrook Falls is a city built next to a gigantic waterfall located in Sweet Carol Woods. The city is known for its huge open trading market, which covers nearly the entire city. There isn't a single street in the city that doesn't have at least one trading booth or shop. The city is also known for its gossip. If you have questions, you will be sure to find the answers in Meadowbrook Falls!

Mellisandra's Cottage

_____Mellisandra Grant is the witch who created Stuffalynns. She has become quite famous, seeing as Stuffalynns are now found across Pomavaria and are beginning to appear in the neighboring kingdoms. Her cottage is in the Sweet Carol Woods, about a two day journey from Meadowbrook Falls. Mellisandra inherited the cottage from her well-known magic teacher, Sessile Moss. The loss of her teacher was what sparked Mellisandra to create Stuffalynns in the first place.

Mount Triumph

_____Mount Triumph is the largest mountain in the Pomavaria Mountain range. A great battle was fought on the mountain during a long forgotten war. Old and faded records say that it was named Mount Triumph by the victors of the battle, and the losers left the kingdom and never returned for fear of losing once again.

Mysterious Tree

_____The Mysterious Tree is a gigantic, ancient maple tree at the edge of the Blennerhassett Bog. It is home to a huge population of fairies and pixies. The fairies and pixies collect sap from the tree and will trade it to humans in exchange for bits and baubles. Humans who trade for the sap can turn it into a rich, delicious syrup that can be sold for a very high price.

Pomavaria Mountains

_____The Pomavaria Mountains is a mountain range of large mountains in the very corner of the kingdom of Pomavaria. It is the location of Brass Castle, where the King and Queen of Pomavaria live. The musicians who live in the Brass Castle enjoy playing their music in the outside courtyards of the city because the sound travels throughout the mountain range due to the great acoustic positioning of the mountains.

Pomavaria River

_____The Pomavaria River is the only river in the Pomavaria Kingdom. It has five tributaries, which are smaller rivers that run off of the main river. The tributaries were never given official names, so Pomavarians just refer to them by unofficial names. Starting from the furthest tributary to the right, the tributaries are called the Crescent Tributary, the First Tributary, the Second Tributary, the Third Tributary, and the Fourth Tributary.

Silver Mountains

_____The Silver Mountains are the range of smaller mountains towards the bottom of the kingdom of Pomavaria. They are known for having large deposits of precious metals and gemstones, the largest being veins of silver. Miners have created a number of mine shafts in the mountains to mine the metals and gemstones. The miners have noticed that whenever they clear out a vein of metal or gems, if they leave and return a month or so later there are even more veins! Nobody is certain how this happens, but there are many different speculations - each more strange than the last.

Sweet Carol Woods

_____The Sweet Carol Woods is a forest full of many different types of birds that all sing in harmony. A walk through these woods is similar to going to an orchestra performance. The birds have many different calls and all live happily in the trees, harmonizing with each other. If someone walking in the woods starts to sing a tune, it doesn't take long for the birds to hear it and begin chirping along to the tune!

_____Detailed information about Heprucuria is still forthcoming. What is known is that the citizens of this kingdom do not tolerate magic of any sort. They have been known to burn spellbooks and magical items and throw good and kind practicing witches and wizards into jail. Most of the land is farmland. There are few forests or mountains in this kingdom.

_____Detailed information about Augussria is still forthcoming. What is known is that the entire kingdom is located in sandy desert and rocky mountain terrain. The people are very hardy and muscular. Vegetation and farming is sparse, so green foods are mostly imported from other kingdoms.

_____Welcome to the Exploration Index! Here you can see a list of all of the Discovered Items you can find and put together while exploring Amoryn! All of the items in the regular Marketplace can also be found while exploring Amoryn, so this list will only include items that can be found in specific places in Amoryn or created by combining items. This means you can only find these items in one place or create them by combining two other items.

_____Many of the items that can be found while exploring have different options you can choose from regarding how to use the items. Choices are final - once you decide how to use an item, you cannot change your mind and try to use it another way. All items found will go into your Bank Account, or the special accessory list in the Stuffalynn Sanctuary Scrolls if it is an accessory, until you decide what you want to do with them.
