"I've already eaten," she purred, facing the camp entrance. "Let's go." She trotted towards it, eager to start the day's training. Finally, battle moves! She flexed and relaxed her claws at the entrance as she waited for her mentor.

Snailpaw trilled happily and raced towards the meadow. Her heart raced excitedly against her chest as she bounded through the camp entrance and over rocks and branches, only skidding to a halt once she reached the training meadow. Her eager yellow gaze scanned over the grass, flicking to the moving grass that bowed in waves in light breezes.

"Good job, now pretend that I'm a badger and I'm about to get to the nursery! Use the Badger Defence techniques." She says before walking towards her as if she was.
Badger Defense: Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers.)

Snailpaw's eyes widened. A badger defense? She looked down in thought, trying to buy herself time by stepping backwards until it hit her. She'd have to jump over Greyfur! She looked down at her legs in doubt. They were so short! Would she be able to jump over a badger? Well... hopefully the time would never come for her to have to scale a badger. Right now, it was just another cat! She bristled and crouched down again, trying to time it just right. Almost... Ready... and... Now! Energy surged to her paws and she leaped, just managing to scale her mentor. Once she reached the ground, she stumbled slightly before snapping around and gripping Greyfur's hindleg lightly between her jaws.

"Excellent Snailpaw. I would like you to do the leap and hold technique now." she says with her eyes having a glint of determination.
Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed.)
