If somebody applied who had say, 9000 posts, would the person with 9000 posts be more likely to be considered over somebody with less posts? Or does it just matter about how actively you post/what the posts are?

I think just the quality of their posts matter, not how many.

It's a matter of quality over quantity. If you have 9,000 posts but they're all just bumping your trade thread, and someone else has 900 posts and they, on the other hand, are helping members out, they will be more considered over the member with a quantity of posts.

Like the others said above me, but also, keep in mind what the other staff have said; It mainly matters on how active you are on the site. If you have 9000 posts, but only come on every other week or something, and if your compared to someone with only 800 posts, but comes on for almost the whole day every day, then the person who is more active is more likely to get chosen for the job.

It depends on what you applied for. If you applied for General Helper, your posts helping others, greeting new users, etc. would matter more than bumping your trade thread. Same with oekaki and roleplaying, the more active you are in those forums, the better chance to get a position there.

I applied for GH ^^ I would apply for Roleplay Mod, since that is my life, but I am not 18 or over ._. Eh, I like helping others =3
