Slowly, Halfshade returned to the waking world, leaving his slumber. He looked around for the only other elder in the den, as well as his mate; Spiderface.

The elder sleeping peacefully, awoke as she herd the soft russle of her mate awaking. Slowly blinking she glanced over to see Halfshade. She let a small grin slip her face. Standing up stifly, she walked over and shoved her muzzle in his fur. Mumbling she said "Morn'n".

she shook her head. "If you wish, you can go on the dawn patrol. I wouldn't be there, since I have to send a hunting patrol." she warned carefully. her eyes searing into her apprentices.

the females chest rose softly in her sleep. her breaths were even, but quick.

Halfshade smiled, returning the greeting. "Good morning to you too, Spiderface." Spending time with the she-cat was possibly the most enjoyable activity for him; with his old body, he could do less than he would like, but he didn't need a spry physique to talk.

thornpaw frowned a little, but quickly perked up. he was disappointed his mentor wouldn't be going, but he did really want to go on the patrol. it was always so exciting. he smiled again. "okay, i would still love to go!"

Spiderface

She let out a raspy purr. She wished she was a young'un again, but she would take a lifetime a boring tasks, to be with Halfshade. He was a good cat. Rising up from her spot she asked "Would you want to find a good spot in the sun? Maybe pick some juicy prey while we are at it?" Her rusty bones made her movements stiff, but it didn't hurt worse than usual. She didn't want to see the Medicine cat, she held too much pride.

Also, I own Redkit not Robinkit.. Sorry
