Number one character related pet peeve? (Speak generally; no names)
The no reselling/trading/gifting rule. If I buy a character, love it and buy it art, but eventually feel disconnected from it, I should be able to sell/trade/gift it. Turning around a week later is one thing, but a genuine loss of connection is a valid reason to re-sell imo.

What eye colours do your characters have?
Usually blues and greens, a few yellows, and I think one ore two have purple.

Added rules. They always piss me off because its like, unless you have the original designers permission or you created the design its stupid to add rules. Or things like "No reselling" but not telling the people and then taking the character back w/o refunds and stuff and totally bull?? idk that's why im kinda iffy on who I buy from now. .____.

What's the best way for you to develop your characters?
I like to commission artwork of them, and think up stories for the art. What kind of scenarios they're in, whats going on and sort of build up stories from there. So characters with a lot of art, usually have a lot and lot of development. Sometimes i'll also sort of just randomly sit around and sketch and think about stories because I mean?? not everything has to be written down to exist.

Hi everyone! I've been working on some names/ideas for my new species (pictured above if you haven't seen them!) and I created a survey so people can vote on the names! So just to preface this, I used to have these two species, my Atlantean Hexapedes-- the idea was that they were creatures that used to live in the lost city of Atlantis; I thought the idea was fun and I wanted to continue it, so that's why "Atlantean" is at the beginning of all the names. The second parts of the names are based on different types of lizards!

-squeals- Yay!!! I totally voted in your survey. I chose the name Atlantean Anapsid because of two main reasons.

First because I love alliteration, which is "the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words." It is something I tend to use myself with my species! (Examples of my adopts: The Whole Kit & Kaboodle, The Realm of the Rah'liani, Stuffalynn Sanctuary) I love how using the same letter can help make a name roll off the tongue.

Second is that I love the idea of them being based on reptile ancestors (dinosaurs ftw!) because the term reptiles covers a wider range of species than the other name choices which only have one or two species. Many people like seeing feature variations in closed species. I think it helps make species unique, especially if there's a feature or pairing of features that isn't seen in other species. Anyway, I think the ancient dino reptile ancestor idea is neat.

I can't wait to see what you officially name them! ^_^

Hey guys so I'm feeling really conflicted right now.
There's this character that I once fell in love with like a year or two ago during an auction which I lost because I'm often a broke loser
So, I followed the person who won on D.A for perhaps updates on the guy or something like that if they ever decided to trade/sell him off
I haven't seen anything so far and probably because they use them in private rps or something because that's what I do
But I'm really curious and debating if I should ask them if they would be willing to trade/ sell (but in return for art/or another adopt that I would have to buy or something)

He is most certainly a dream character and I basically swoon everytime I see him... I'm so manly haha

But what do you think I should do, and how I could ask without being rude because I'm hella blunt and horrible with people?

Maybe say something like "Hello about a year ago I saw that you won *person who held auctions DA name*'s auction (or maybe you should link back the auction) and I was wondering if you still had the character, and if you would be willing to trade it. If you don't have the character could you please tell me who does? Thanks for your time." Or something XD

Characters with those kind of personalities. The 'she's really mean and vicious and hates everyone, but she's really sweet and nice around her friends,' like ??? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there's characters out there with similar personalities that are very well developed, but personally, the moment I see something like that I lose the ability to take it seriously.

We've got blue, green, orange, yellow, green again, white?, gold, black, grey, purple - it goes on.

Fiona would definitely be surprised, Riddle's reaction would probably 'meh.' Honestly they treat each other like family anyways.

- 6 gets very angry at 4. What's the reason for this?
I don't even know, Jormund is always (affectionately) angry at Neero. Neero probably did something stupid and almost got himself killed.

- 5 wants to go out to the shops and wants 3 to come along. What would 3 say?
It wouldn't be much of a big deal, if a bit awkward at first. At most it would be 'Aryka no, leave the cashier alone.'

- Oh no! 2 falls in love with 5! What happens next?
Heheh, they're married - I should hope Fiona loves him.

- Oops, it seems that 4 is also in love with 5. What does 2 do?
A lot of suspicious looks and possessive behavior (such as not leaving the two alone together)

- How exactly does 5 react to having 2 and 4 in love with them? Who will they choose, if any?

- 1 is having a nice relaxing day, when 6 starts bothering them. What does 1 do?
obliterate him Nah, she'd probably either ignore him or scare the crap out of him.

I think it would be really cute, Aryka would be talking really passionately about crystals, waving his hands around, darting back and forth between different samples of crystal and explaining their properties. Neero wouldn't be paying attention to anything he said and would be more focused on just watching Aryka (probably with a mushy, starstruck expression).
