Talis' brow furrowed ever so slightly as he inspected Indris. It looked very much like the elf was hiding something, and this unnerved Talis very much. Again, he wasn't about to tempt fate, so he decided not to bring it up.

"Do you not have them on you?" The half-elf asked. Talis moved around slightly in his spot, fidgeting with his now-numbing fingers. Elves like him weren't meant for the cold...

Burrows-In-Sand snorted, clapping her hands over her mouth to muffle her laughter as she received a bewildered look from the drunken man, whom was now sobering up. "Well said," she stated, then gave another solid kick to the Nord's ribs. "Bigoted bastards. It's even worse in Windhelm," she mumbled.

Jellal nodded. "Yes." he said in disgust. He looked at the woman and smiled, rubbing the back of his head. "Do you want to come to my home. It's up on a close mountain. Built it myself." he looked down nervously.

Sorosi Nitrel shook her head and looked down the road
towards the route back to the Sanctuary. Sanctuary, that
word had become rather strange to her. Back at the coll-
ege it had brought thoughts of a place a refugee might
hide. Then the word seemed to shift in her mind as she
had been initiated into the Brotherhood and it had brought
a sense of distaste to mind. But now the word sanctuary
felt like home. The assassins that she was constantly sur-
rounded by may be murderous, dangerous, and possibly
even unstable at times but atleast they didn't conceal the
fact around each other. And it would seem she would have
to succumb to lying once more if she was to protect that
complicated feeling that the word 'sanctuary' brought to
her. "No, not with me. I'd rather keep it at home in case,
well, my... Pupil... Needs to borrow anything for her...
studies." She supplied choppily as she thought up an excuse.

Burrows-In-Sand looked up, surprised and a tad bit suspicious. She couldn't help feeling wary; normally the only people she felt she could trust were the others in the Companions. After thinking for a long moment, finally she came to a decision. "Sure. Lead the way," she smiled.

The Orc handed her steed to the stables of Riften, where she had heard the first dragon of many had been slayed. Word came round quick if you talked to enough drunks at enough bars. She walked through the doors and made a brisk walk to the shops in hopes to sell her latest wads of junk she had picked up on her adventures.

Talis nodded slightly and made a small noise of acknowledgement. Beasts must have so much self control, he thought, that they're able to shy away from the hand that feeds them when it is so obviously concealing items and words alike. The half-elf crossed his arms and looked to the floor for a moment before replying, "If you need to go and fetch them, I can wait here..."

Matthias sighed and scratched at the side of his chin. He missed the dragon-slayers, yes, but a cold drink at the meadery? He'd kill himself if that was the case. With another small loud, which didn't sound much different then a cat lazing in the sun, the Imperial made his way to where (he hoped) the meadery was.

With little effort, Matthias opened the door and slunk in. Black-briar might have tasted horrid, but at least you could count that their doors were always open.

"Thank ya very much, Hun." She grinned at the shop keeper in front of her, who gave her a rather nasty look. Ignoring it, the Orc decided to get herself a drink at the meadery. She new if she drank too much, she might drag herself back and harass the workers for a few on how god awful their product was (getting kicked out in the process) but Dris was not a woman of sensible acts. She strolled up to the wooden doors and swung them open.

Sorosi Nitrel stood still and snow gathered over her robes
as her mind went blank. She wasn't sure exactly what she
was thinking that moment, it was as if her mind went sil-
ent. Then her mind spring into action again and she look-
ed up. She pointed past what she believed the widow had
referred to as Irgnir's house. "The Windpeak Inn is down
that way, I'll try to be back quickly, but this is Dawnstar
and with the weather as it is I don't reccomend waiting
in the cold like this. The place ought to be open, I can't see
why it wouldn't be even if it were fully booked. I should be
back though. Just need an hour or so," she said, pocketing
the wings and looking out towards the exit to town. "At the
maximum. Shouldn't be any longer then that," she said
vaguely and looked between Talis and the exit, shuffling
around slightly in the snow. "I'll be right back, you can have
my word!" She promised and began to speed walk away after
a little bit of hesitation. As it occurred to her how truly cold
it was, her pace grew to a sprint and she began to run agai-
nst the wind towards the sanctuary.

Zachariah looked up from his conversation, blinking in surprise. He hadn't expected anyone else to enter after the Dragon attack for quite awhile, but he supposed they probably needed a drink after what had happened, and he couldn't blame them. He needed a drink, too -- but not a drink of mead.
"Um. Hi," the Guildmaster said to the Orc and Imperial, a shadow of red creeping up his face as he realized that they had probably caught him making a poor attempt to flirt with the Harbringer of the Companions.
"Would you two like a drink? It's ... free, I guess," he shrugged, unsure of what else he should say.
