In Louisiana, you find a small shop nestled in a roadside shopping center, and your curiosity convinces you to enter. I doesn’t matter where in the state- the shop moves around often. It is bound by the limits of the state, however.
You enter the dark and barely lit shop and a patter of small hoofsteps leads to a small creature tugging on your pants leg. Bemused, you follow it and pass under one of the sparse electric lanterns hanging from the ceiling. You notice with the split-second glance, as you have since already passed the lamp, the creature is a small horse of a nice pale lavender-brown color.
Eventually a step in front of a moderately lit doorway appears in front of you through the gloom and you follow the horse inside, and then you notice the horse has no face- only a fluorescent blue skull with ears to match its hide. A voice breaks you from your shock, and you look up to catch what the person is saying.
A woman, not much older than late thirties, says an a smoky, but even, voice, “I see you’ve met Lavender. You wouldn’t be here unless something’s happened in your life at any point that would have you require our service. Here, we call this little shop “Second Chance Spooks”, as we are well known for a little brew of ours that can bring a beloved animal back to life- provided you have a piece of their physical remains, or even better, the entire thing.”
You don’t answer, still shocked, and so she says, “I will remain here for now. Come to me when you would like to request our services- we have more than just the one brew. You never know what might pop up.
-Pre-revives
These are creatures that have been revived by your gracious host prior to your arrival. One should not ask nor ponder too much about where these animals come from- your host acquires them while perusing her surroundings, she simply revives them.
[Functions as a free adoptable on the oekaki. These will have "Adopt Me" in the thumbnail.]
-Second Chance Brew
A little concoction that revives one deceased creature- this requires a sign of devotion from the patron and a piece of the animal’s remains.
[Functions as a custom. The item of devotion is an item or a pet on my/the selected artist’s wishlist, to be sent in a trade. The animal’s remains is a basic guideline to go off of, like “doberman” or “wolfish” or “pinto” or anything like that. Mention the animal you want.
If you want something other than a dog or horse, it will cost TWO STORE ITEMS [does not have to be wishlist], to be sent in a trade, as this requires the artist to modify the General Lines to fit your choice.]
More may come soon.
[I recommend leaving suggestions for services you would like to see.]

Staff Rules wrote:- Please be polite at all possible times.
- However, this does not mean you have to sit there and take it if someone if being consistently rude or harassing.
- As an artist, please maintain so activity unless you state you will be slowing down for whatever reason. At least two Spooks a month [Revival OR adopt, it doesn't matter].
- For artists- The skulls should be a bright, unrealistic color, but the bodies realistic in color. Markings aren't as strict, but keep em at least 45% believable, please!
- Preferably, Adopt spooks should be outnumbered by Revived spooks. However, if business is slow, feel free to put out a little more when you feel like.
- If there's a major problem and you're having trouble handling it yourself, feel free to let me know via PM.
General Rules wrote:- Please only adopt/revive as many as you can handle.
- As rude as it sounds, I reserve the right to revoke your character should I think you no longer deserve it [rude to mods, anyone else, consistently break rules] and readopt it out.
- When "Reviving", please send it via PM, do NOT post it in the thread.
- When "Reviving", do not PM it to an artist not currently doing revivals.
- Ask politely and nicely and be patient when purchasing revivals.
