My first legit Shiny was in my Emerald version, and this was ridiculous. I went to Sky Pillar after beating the game and found Rayquaza as a Shiny. I thought "O_O" and eventually just shook it off as dumb luck, but then the same thing happened when I finally found Kyogre and Groudon. Can you believe it? Three Shiny Legendary Pokemon without soft resets.

Speaking of OR/AS, can anyone help me come up with a plot for a DE(Delta Emerald) RP? I can't ever get people to join one, and I'm thinking it's the plot. Or is it just because people don't want to join an RP about a game that hasn't come out yet and might not come out at all?

The sad thing is I didn't know what a shiny was until I became active on the Internet... I remember thinking I saw a weird animation a few times while playing but I shrugged it off. I think I might have encountered a shiny before but I didn't know what it was. XD

I always thought gyrados was just weird special gyrados in gen two.
